As you can see the person in this video is Bro. Benjamin Stephen originated from Johor. The real name of this guy is Badrul Hisyam born and raised as a Muslim and during his childhood he grown up with a Malay customs and practices. Obtained his first education in Sekolah Agama somewhere in Perak and now converted his religious view to Christianity. Nauzubillahiminzalik... All praise is due to Allah. We praise Him, ask His help and His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of ourselves and our mischief of our deeds. Whomever Allah guides, none can misguide him. And whomever is misguided, none can guide him. And I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, Alone, without partners for Him. And I bear witness that Muhammad is His Servant and Messenger, may the Salah and abundant Salam of Allah be upon him, his Household, his Companions and all those who followed them faithfully, until the Day of Recompense Personally as a Muslim it was really a brokenhearted to see our own kind lost their way and get into a passage of despicable and misguided. This is what happened to Bro. Benjamin Stephen or Badrul Hisyam in his sermon he told about his embracement into Christian and change his original religion. Based on his statement he was get into Christian by getting influenced by a priest or so called his mentor with enticement of wealth. In this video, he was criticizing on Islamic beliefs which he has the wrong perception towards it by merely interpreting the facts in Quran with his bear mind. Just for example, he was questioning the qalimah (verse 06, Suratul Fatihah), transliterate ihdinassiratal-mustaqeem or show us the right path which he was speculating that Prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h. are blind and not the right leader to lead the humankind because he dont even know the right path and asking to god for that. The irrelevant of his statement arises a sentiment towards

the Islam adherent which would jeopardize the tranquility of the adherent between these two religions. If we take a look in the previous incident of the decapitations between Madurese and Dayak in 1997 which kills 100 of Muslim Madurese in Indonesia at that time is because of the disparage or bad sentiment towards others. The result was devastative killing hundreds of innocent people where the Dayak killed the Madurese by headhunting including woman and child. Which we really dont want to see this happens here in our country.

Based on what we see in Bro Benjamin Sermon there is certain factor why he change his own view towards Islam. Although he was educated in an Islamic Religious school and with good early education and guidance, he is actually in doubted towards Islam. This is because with his undirected thoughts and over thinking he was speculating that an issue that he was so called as nonsensical matter in Islamic belief which that issue he debut with was not proven or even stated in Quran. With that point he proved that Islam religion is wrong and astray. In different situation, pretend he is a real Christian or born in Christian, he have no rights to criticize Islam in such manner which also against the law. Which Bro Benjamin Stephen can be charged under Section III of the Sharia Criminal Offences Act 1997 (No. 559) of the Federal Territories. Which causing blasphemy and insulting Islam specifically are prohibited at the state level. As further: Any person who orally or in writing or by visible representation or in any other manner (a) insults or brings into contempt the religion of Islam; (b) derides, apes or ridicules the practices or ceremonies relating to (c) the religion of Islam; or (d) degrades or brings into contempt any law relating to the religion of Islam for the time being in force in the Federal Territories, shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding three thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.

Any person who, by his words or acts, derides, insults, ridicules or brings into contempt the verses of Al-Quran or Hadith shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both.

The Sharia criminal statutes of other states include similar provisions, though the punishments and the degree of enforcement of the statutes varies. These statutes are broad in scope and address a range of other Sharia violations, which in some cases fall under the rubric of insulting Islam.

Therefore, there is limitation in freedom of speech whoever are you open or privately spoken and there is limitation towards whatever perception on you review at certain issue. Thus, we take a lesson on Bro. Benjamin Stephen which he might not understand the real Islamic belief which is full of serenity and tolerance as shown by our beloved Prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h.
