Dear readers, Team of CeProSARD in the last period at national level conducted a series of activities from its area of operation. In fact, as part of the project Analysis of the impact of policies and programs to support the agricultural holdings of the World Bank in Macedonia, CeProSARD conducts research on the impact of the reforms of agricultural policy on agricultural holdings Some of the activities were aimed at educating young people about the use of renewable energy sources and the implementation of measures for energy efficiency. Furthermore were conducted processes for strategic planning for Local Economic and Social Council of the Municipality of Stip, and ongoing is strategic planning for Local Economic Council of the Municipality of Prilep . Also was achieved cooperation with local governments. Within the department of environmental protection for business sector was prepared elaborate on environmental protection for biogas power plant. As part of regular practice in the organization team is continuous improvement.

Analysis of the impact of policies and programs to support the agricultural holdings As part of the project Analysis of the impact of policies and programs to support the agricultural holdings of the World Bank in Macedonia, CeProSARD conducts research on the impact of the reforms of agricultural policy on agricultural holdings. Within this research, CeProSARD will organize 13 focus groups with farmers from subsectors of fruits, vegetables, cereals, tobacco and milk. Separate focus groups will be organized with big producers, as well as women farmers. It will also be conducted and interviews with representatives of relevant government institutions.

Project United for tomorrow vol.3 CeProSARD for student members of AIESEC Skopje, as well as for students from other European countries held a series of trainings on renewable energy and energy efficiency within the project United for tomorrow vol.3. The project was implemented by the international platform for students AIESEC in collaboration with CeProSARD.

Strategic planning of the Local Economic and Social Council CeProSARD within the project network for Youth Employability Skills (YES Network), implemented by the Center for Educational Development (CED) , and funded by the Agency for International Development of USA (USAID) conducted a workshopon the 4th of June on Strategic planning of the Local Economic and Social Council (LESC) of the Municipality of Stip.On this workshop the vision, mission, values, priority areas of action and plan activities LESC were finalized. In August was conducted workshop to finalize the process of strategic planning and Local Economic Council of the Municipality of Prilep.

Municipality Novaci will promote sustainable agricultural practices and rural development CeProSARD establish cooperation with the Municipality of Novaci to support the municipality in maximum utilization of capacities and opportunities for sustainable economic development. At today's meeting we discussed the possibilities of cooperation with this NGO Organization that deals with consulting services in the areas of agriculture, rural sustainable development, energy efficiency, environment, exploitation of renewable energy sources, the possibility of using solar energy in the processing of vegetables, possibilities for financing in the field of renewable energy, etc. said Lazar Kotevski Mayor of Municipality of Novaci.

Representative from CeProSARD was part of the continuation of the international training course on business planning projects for energy efficiency Upon recommendation of the Energy Agency of the Republic of Macedonia representative from CeProSARD was able to attend the second part of the international training on Business Planning projects for energy efficiency. The training was supported by: Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey, United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

Made Rulebook for energy performance of buildings and Rulebook for energy control The adoption of the Law on Amendments to the Law on Energy Regulation on energy performance of buildings and the Rulebook for energy control that were developed with the support of a team of CeProSARD starts the procedure for their adoption. Benefits of adoption of these regulations, and therefore the amendments to the Energy Law are large because it introduces several novelties, such as certificates of energy performance of buildings, licenses energy audit and certified energy auditors. These measures will define the conditions and standards of buildings and public facilities and buildings depending on the level of energy efficiency that will offer be will be classified and will be able to receive energy passports.

Elaborate for environmental protection The team of experts of CeProSARD for the company Veze Sharri for their planned Biogas production plant within the prepared Study on environmental protection, has analyzed the impact of the activity on the environment and prepared draft measures to reduce them. Energy production from biomass is a worldwide proven practice that besides economic benefit also contributes to environmental protection. CeProSARD in its activities continuously promote the usage of renewable energy sources.
