the writer of this letter, mohammad shakeel, is from pakistan. he discovered whosoever through the internet and wrote this letter.

beloved gurudev, i am from pakistan... and very happy to know that you also belong to pakistan. i found you to be the first person from pakistan who is a close disciple of osho. i need your help and want to ask you two question. first : i have been meditating since the last ten years. eleven years ago, i experienced satori on a beautiful night which changed my entire life ! this experience was not due to any meditation, it happened automatically. it was so beautiful that i am unable to express it in words. after having this experience, i became so curious to know, what this experience was. because of this curiosity my inward search began. after one year of that experience, i had started reading osho books. i read books on sufism and found all sufis... like bulleh shah, sultan bahoo and others... say the same as osho. i also came to know about meditation from osho books only and started doing meditation. a few days ago, while meditating, i again experienced satori which created lot of fear within me and i become so much afraid that i stopped meditating... became afraid of enlightenment. as osho left his body, i can not ask him : why is this fear ? how to go beyond this experience and jump into the unknown? second : along with this satori experience, i also had many other experiences in my life, but was always unable to endure them. the same fear of enlightenment stopped me from accepting them. i can not stand those experiences as they can lead me to enlightenment. as a result, this has stopped all my life-flow... the fear of enlightenment has freezed my entire life. i have just become like a pool of water which stopped flowing. how to cross this barrier ? how can i adopt all those experiences? at the end, i would like to ask you something personal. i have come to know that you belong to pakistan. was there any other pakistani, who was a close disciple of osho like you ?

whosoever's response beloved muhammad shakeel, here is a response to your letter, you have written beloved gurudev, i am from pakistan... and very happy to know that you also belong to pakistan. i found you to be the first person from pakistan who is a close disciple of osho. ...no no, gurudev belongs to nowhere. i need your help and want to ask you two question. first : i have been meditating since the last ten years. eleven years ago, i experienced satori on a beautiful night which changed my entire life ! this experience was not due to any meditation, it happened automatically. it was so beautiful that i am unable to express it in words. after having this experience, i became so curious to know, what this experience was. because of this curiosity my inward search began. after one year of that experience, i had started reading osho books. i read books on sufism and found all sufis... like bulleh shah, sultan bahoo and others... say the same as osho. i also came to know about meditation from osho books only and started doing meditation. a few days ago, while meditating, i again experienced satori which created lot of fear within me and i become so much afraid that i stopped meditating... became afraid of enlightenment. ...first thing: theres no need to be afraid of enlightenment, because you never becomes enlightened. enlightenment and you never meet like light never meets darkness. darkness means the absence of light. when light appears, darkness disappears. enlightenment is like light. enlightenment is only then , when you are not. as osho left his body, i can not ask him : why is this fear ?

...fear is ... because you dont know what you are . all fears are imaginary... they are due to self-ignorance. how to go beyond this experience and jump into the unknown? ...what you believe, what you experience, what you understand... you are not. just know this much... and you are already in the unknown. where is the need to jump? second : along with this satori experience, i also had many other experiences in my life, but was always unable to endure them. the same fear of enlightenment stopped me from accepting them. i can not stand those experiences as they can lead me to enlightenment. as a result, this has stopped all my life-flow... the fear of enlightenment has freezed my entire life. i have just become like a pool of water which stopped flowing. how to cross this barrier ? ...how can i adopt all those experiences? ...there is no how . if the experiences are real, they will adopt you. at the end, i would like to ask you something personal. i have come to know that you belong to pakistan. was there any other pakistani, who was a close disciple of osho like you ? and if so... is he living in pakistan now ? if yes, can you please give me his address so that i can meet him. ...as mentioned above, gurudev belongs to nowhere and does not know about other disciples. your lover... muhammad shakeel. with his blessings whosoever.
