Guide lines for submission of the report 1) 2) 3) A photocopy of the original certificate issued by the Industry/Institute where the training was undertaken needs to be attached with the report. Original copy to be produced for verification at the time of viva. All are expected to face a viva to be conducted as per the schedule which will be announced at a later date. The report should contain the following, a) Title of training under taken. b) Name of student and roll number c) Place where training was undertaken with period and dates. d) a), b), c) to be written on cover sheet. e) Very brief report of industry/Institute ( half a page) f) Highlights such as, Department where worked, Equipment/software used, survey done, etc. etc. (one page). g) What motivated U to select this particular industry/Institute (One page)? h) What did U learn from this training/experiences etc. (one page)? i) What R, U R suggestions for improvement of the process/systems etc? (One page). j) Results obtained, if any (two to four pages). k) Would U like to continue working in this area? If YES, why? If No why? (half page) l) What is U R conclusion? (Half page) m) If more than one student worked in a same place as a team, then the reports should be independently written (cut and paste and copying is forbidden). n) Double side printing is encouraged. o) The sheets are to be simply pinned using a stapler (like a book). In particular plastic folders/sheets should not be used while binding the report. p) Viva can be simply chalk and talk or a max of five PPTs can be used. q) Failure to appear for the viva due to any reason will not be excused. There is no provision for a second date. In unavoidable circumstances, students should arrange an alternate candidate in his/her place for the viva voce, so that, the number of candidates to be interviewed on that date remains unaffected. r) Evaluation is of two parts Report-70% quality of work 30%
