2013 SEMINARY APPEAL MONTH During the month of October New Life Lutheran will be doing a special month

th long fund appeal for the newly established North American Lutheran Church Seminary. The seminary was formed officially after the 2013 Convocation in Pittsburgh which affirmed the work of the theological task force. The task force purposed a seminary centered based at Ambrose, PA at Trinity School for Ministry (Anglican Church USA) with extension schools spread throughout the vairous mission districts. Today Shari Munyon, a seminarian from Avoca, IA studies at Sioux Falls Seminary. She is also working for Trinity Lutheran Church, Avoca, IA. We will take a love offering today for the NALS which will be closed on Reformation Sunday. Along with Our Saviours Lutheran in Ackley Seminary Month and its appeal will go to reduce the debt load incurred by those seeking to answer the call to Word and Sacrament ministry and the costs with starting our own seminary program to meet the needs of the church.
