Argentina – Soybean Production Forecast 2013-2014

According to the Grain Exchange Buenos Aires, in its weekly Jan. 3, 2014 report the area for soybeans is estimated at
20.45 million hectares (87.2% already in place)
The SIIA Weekly Agricultural Report – January 2, 2014, for a planting intention 20,806,543 hectares (83% were
implanted), we estimate a production of 55.3 million tons

We estimate the soybean crop in Argentina could reach 21.5 million hectares in the year 2013/2014, with a production of 57.3
million tons
