There have been many debates within congregations regarding head

coverings and the reasons that women are to wear them based on the
following passage:

1 Corinthians 11:1-16
1 Be imitators of me, as I also am of Yahshua.
2 Now I praise you because you remember me in all things and keep
the traditions just as I delivered them to you.
3 But I want you to know that Yahshua is the head of every man, and
the man is the head of the woman, and Yahweh is the head of
Yahshua.
4 Every man who prays or prophesies with something on his head
dishonors his head.
5 But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered
dishonors her head, since that is one and the same as having her head
shaved.
6 So if a woman's head is not covered, her hair should be cut off. But
if it is disgraceful for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head
shaved, she should be covered.
7 A man, in fact, should not cover his head, because he is Yahweh's
image and glory, but woman is man's glory.
8 For man did not come from woman, but woman came from man; 9
and man was not created for woman, but woman for man.
10 This is why a woman should have a symbol of authority on her
head: because of the angels.
11 However, Yahweh, woman is not independent of man, and man is
not independent of woman.
12 For just as woman came from man, so man comes through woman,
and all things come from Yahweh.
13 Judge for your selves: Is it proper for a woman to pray to Yahweh
with her head uncovered?
14 Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair it
is a disgrace to him,
15 but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For her hair is
given to her as a veil (covering).
16 But if anyone wants to argue about this, we have no other custom,
nor do the churches.

To avoid the trappings of legalism, one must approach any scriptural topic
from the perspective of the Spirit and its understanding of Love. What
lesson of love (Spiritual parallel) are we to learn from Paul's statement?

In the above verses Paul is relating us to an area of proof, this time from
nature, to substantiate his claim that a woman is supposed to wear a man-
made covering. "Doth not even nature itself teach you." Paul had just told
the people that a woman should wear a veil because it's customary for a
woman to not have short hair, and it's also customary to wear a veil. If you're
going to follow one custom, then follow the other, as well.

Then Paul added: "If custom doesn't help you become convinced that a
woman should wear a veil." Paul then appealed to the fact that a woman is
not the head, but the man is the head of the woman. He said that a man
shouldn't wear a covering because he (the man) is the (symbolic representative)
image of Yahweh. The women couldn't go thinking that they can appear
unveiled as men, as they do not symbolically represent Yahweh, AND they
are the glory of the MAN. But, is that all? Doesn't the MAN represent
YAHWEH? Then doesn't the WOMAN, also, represent (symbolically
speaking) "THE GLORY" of YAHWEH?

Revelation 21:2
And I John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from
Yahweh out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her
husband.

Then after we meet with Messiah and Yahweh (in Spirit) "In the Clouds":

Isaiah 62:5
For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee:
and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy Elohim
rejoice over thee.

1 Corinthians 12:13-20
13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be
Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made
to drink into one Spirit. 14 For the body is not one member, but many.
15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the
body; is it therefore not of the body?16 And if the ear shall say,
Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of
the body?17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing?
If the whole were hearing, where is the smelling? 18 But now hath
Yahweh set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath
pleased him. 19 And if they were all one member, where were the
body? 20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.

Ephesians 5:22-25
22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the
Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Messiah is
the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body. 24 Therefore
as the church is subject unto Messiah, so let the wives be to their own
husbands in every thing. 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as
Messiah also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Galatians 2:20
I am crucified with Messiah: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Messiah
liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the
faith of the Son of Yahweh, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Ephesians 5:32-33
32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Messiah and the
church. 33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his
wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

Revelation 19:7
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of
the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

The physical to Spiritual parallels are already in place, and are dependent on
the context of the message. They are:

(1) When the man represents Yahweh, then the woman

represents a bride (New Jerusalem or Israel) prepared for her
husband.

(2) When the man represents Messiah, then the woman

represents "The Congregation" (church).

(3) Messiah also represents Yahweh (by proxy).

(4) Marriage between man and woman (Yahweh & Israel OR

Messiah & Church) produce children (True Believers or The Chosen
or The First Fruits)

Thus, when a woman wears a head-covering (for a moed or congregational

meeting), she represents "The Bride," "New Jerusalem," "New Israel," and
"The Congregation." AND it is "The Bride," "New Jerusalem," "New
Israel," and "The Congregation" that comes under the authority of Yahweh
and His proxy, Messiah Yahshua; AND SINCE "The Woman" is honored to
represent ALL True Believers (the congregation), is it not, also, fitting that the
symbolism of "Covering Her Head" not, also, represent her relationship as
"The True Bride of Yahweh," and as a "Bride Adorned" in voluntary
subjection to her husband (her head or Yahweh)? Of course! Therefore, head-
coverings are a matter of "Spiritual Perceptions" that teach AND represent
the relationship AND the Love (freely given, as an "Intent of The Heart")
towards Yahweh. However, just as important, is the relationship from
Yahweh's perspective, because when Yahweh looks at the "Congregation,"
(Messiah and his followers) Yahweh sees his bride covered by "The Lamb" of
our (living) sacrifice. He sees us ALL as "The Same Virtuous Image" (His
Own Spiritual Image), as is in the (living) sacrificial image of Messiah (Our
Passover Lamb).

Numbers 15:38-41
38 Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make
them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their
generations, and that they put upon the fringe (H6734 "wing like
projections or tassels") on the borders of a blue thread:
39 And it shall be unto you for a fringe (H6734 "wing like projections or
tassels"), that ye may look upon it, and remember all the
commandments of the LORD YHWH, and do them; and that ye seek
not after your own heart and your own eyes (SELFish intentions),
after which ye use to go a whoring:
ye may remember, and do all my commandments (to keep your
marriage vows to The Eternal), and be righteousness seeking unto your
YHWH.
41 I am the LORD YHWH your Creator, which brought you out of the
land of Egypt, to be your YHWH: I am the LORD YHWH your
Creator.

Deuteronomy 22:12
Thou shalt make thee fringes (H1434 "twisted thread") upon the four
quarters of thy vesture, wherewith thou coverest thyself.
I cannot think of a better way to compliment this
relationship than to do so with a head-covering made of
pure, snow white, virgin lamb's wool complete with tassels
of twisted blue thread on the four corners to remind us of
our marriage to The Eternal by proxy to Messiah.
