Drop in at the Nature Museum in McClellan Ranch Preserve to
visit the turtles, snakes, mice, and live insect displays, Fridays,
3:00-5:00pm, and Saturdays, 11am-3pm.

Become a Cupertino Jr. Naturalist by learning about our
local native plants and animals and the habitats where they
are found. Youll receive a booklet with games, puzzles and
activities that will help you explore and learn about nature.
Youll earn a Jr. Naturalist pin when you have completed
activities in all seasons. The booklet includes simple activities
appropriate for 4-5 year old children to do with the help
of a parent or sibling, as well as more challenging activities
appropriate to children up to age twelve. Completing some
activities will require visiting McClellan Ranch Preserve or other
nearby nature preserves, but families can choose to explore the
nature preserve on their own following the self-guided activities
in the book, or by joining in nature programs led by staff at
McClellan Ranch Preserve.

Learn gardening tips and techniques on how to plant and
maintain your very own garden! Join Master Gardeners in
the Community Gardens located at McClellan Ranch Preserve
for a free and exciting hands-on experience. Seasonal plants,
watering practices, tool usage, weed and pest control, and
organic gardening are just a few topics which will be covered.

a class meeting, a make-up class will be offered if session permits.

Classes with low enrollment may be cancelled, so please register early.
CIass check-inlcheck-out . . . . . . . . . All children 0-14 years of age must be checked in and out of classes and activities
by a parent or guardian. Please come into the classroom and see the instructor
to check your child in and out.

payment. If your payment is not received within 24 hours, your registration will

Refund/Transfer Policy
Dear Valued Customer,
In our efforts to better serve your needs, we have revised our refund policy!
We hope that you will nd our new policy simple and more exible. We understand that
families and their schedules change, so we are providing you with more options and
opportunities to adjust your plans as needed. We appreciate you as a customer, so we have
reduced additional fees and have given you more time to make changes if required.
What could be better more time and money for you, our valued customer!
Course vithdravaIs l trans!ers . . . Course withdrawals or transfers must be submitted in writing at least
14caIendar days prior to the start of the class or camp.
Withdrawals or transfers requested less than 14 calendar days prior to the
rst class meeting and up until the rst class meeting will incur a $10/class
processing fee.
Refunds will not be issued once a class or program has begun.
Requests for course withdrawals or transfers from aquatics cIasses must be
submitted at least 21 calendar days prior to the start of the rst class meeting.
No re!unds will be issued for aquatics cIasses if the request is made less than 21
days prior to the rst class meeting.
Transfers from aquatics cIasses requested less than 21 calendar days prior to
the rst class meeting and up until the rst class meeting will incur a $10/class
processing fee.
Course Cancellations. . . . . . . . . . . . . Refunds will be issued if a course is cancelled by the Parks and Recreation
Department.
Courses not reaching their minimum enrollment will be cancelled.
