Kingsland CE Primary School is the first school to receive the Ndaba - Wilkinson Award in recognition of vibrant school links with friends in Tanzania. Geoffrey Wilkinson, Bromyard, with Gilman Ndaba of Tengeru, Tanzania developed agricultural, medical, church and school links over 23 years ago. The closing of this long-established link was marked with a Nosh and Knowledge evening in Cawley Village Hall on Friday 6 th September. The friendships that have been established will enable existing school links to go ahead and flourish enabling children and adults to understand issues such as diversity, justice, equality and peace. Receiving the splendid award from Lydia Davies, which features a Maasai Warrior, are pupils Ellie Runacus, Eleanor Morgan and Anneka Sparey.
Please respond on the separate letter which you will have received. If you require any extra please ask at the School Office.
