How you can use the annotated bibliography to guide your research and writing?

With past papers, a bibliography list of reference was all I was required to provide on my reference page. An annotated bibliography goes beyond a simple list. My annotated bibliography will guide me in my research and writing by providing me with a brief summary of each reference, so as I continue to conduct research for my paper I can simply refer to the list instead of having reference the entire article. My annotated bibliography has helped me determine the accuracy and quality of the source I have selected up to this point. It also has provided me with the tools effectively evaluate the articles I listed above and determine if the information is relevant to my topic. As I continue with my research, each of my sources has led to others. I am gaining a better undertraining of my subject by following these other leads. It is becoming clearer to me which sources will be more relevant to my research. Finally, my annotated bibliography has also helped me create some ideas regarding how I will organize my paper.
