I was scared at first because I had so many different teachers but they were all really nice and I settled in very quickly.

Faith Education As a Faith school we believe we have a duty to prepare our students for much more than simply the world of work. Our distinctive faith and values mean our care, guidance and support are very important to us. We believe it is our responsibility to help our students discover a sense of the world and their own place in it. We promote values such as serving others, family life and personal responsibility. We also help our students prepare for life changing decisions that involve relationships, vocation and careers. Faith in Action Each year, many of our Year 10 students go on pilgrimage to Lourdes where they help the sick people in our community. This is an integral part of college life and we involve all our students in the work that goes into preparing the group for their pilgrimage. We have a vast range of charitable activities taking place during the year through which we raise funds for the less fortunate in our local community and across the world. This raises awareness of the needs of others. Religious Services We provide many opportunities for our students to celebrate important feasts in the liturgical calendar. We have liturgies or mass at Christmas, Easter and on all holy days of obligation. We have form group Masses and provide our students with opportunities to develop their faith outside college through involvement with local parishes, charity groups and national events, such as the Papal Mass.
I signed up to go to Lourdes for the experience. I think it will be unique and spiritual but fun too. The promise auction was good fun; everyone supported us in our fundraising.

Lindisfarne was really good. The views and the walks were brilliant. It was a memorable trip; a reward I will never forget.
