Technical Project/Program Analyst (Operations Management)
Analyzed cell site outage information and network performance reports for the New York 5
boroughs, Westchester, North & Central NJ, and made recommendations for changes in field
tech and National Network Management Center procedures to increase total network availability.
• Collaborated with local telephone company representatives to clarify reasons and reduce
failure time of high-speed transmission lines that service the Sprint voice and data network.
Selected to lead weekly performance review conference call with carrier vendor as a result.
• Managed emergency restoration efforts between field technicians and HVAC contractors,
which led to changing emergency HVAC response procedures during heat-wave conditions;
discovered and resolved several chronic vendor issues and Sprint procedural issues in the
process.
• Analyzed cell site performance reports to find equipment failure trends and anticipate future
maintenance requirements, supporting the drive to NY area network availability to 99.9%.
Report summaries were requested by engineering, switch operations and facilities department
managers, and by department managers throughout the northeast to aid tracking and
resolution of their chronic performance issues.
• Assisted field operations managers in resolving chronic telco circuit issues with specific
cellular sites, freeing technicians to continue to provide outstanding response time to
customer concerns and network emergencies
• Collaborated with Property Services personnel to procure access rights for field personnel to
Nextel sites located within private structures, allowing 24/7 availability for emergency repair.

Determined which company integrated voice and data services needed to replace existing POTS
landline, integrated or fractional T-1, DSL, PRI/DID voice and data services.
• Implemented paperless distribution system of new customer applications, saving
approximately $25,000 a year in copy supplies and 80 man-hours a week in labor.
• Developed a fast-track training program for support staff and analysts with a non-telecom
