And whoever turns away from My remembrance - indeed, he will have a depressed life, and We will

gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind." [TaHa 20:124]

Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, Read the
Quran once in every month. I said, Indeed, I have strength to do more. He said, Then read it in
twenty nights. I said, Indeed, I have strength to do more. The Prophet said, Then read it in seven
nights and do not add anything to that. [Bukhari, Muslim]

- Were all getting hyped up about what step the US will take in the current world crisis. Had we
opened the Quran we would have found:

[He is] the Lord of the East and the West; there is no deity except Him, so take Him as Disposer of
[your] affairs. [al Muzzammil 73:9]

And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him. [at Talaaq 65:3]

And rely upon the Ever-Living who does not die, and exalt [Allah] with His praise. [Furqan 25:58]

- Allah is telling us in Surat Al-Muzzammil that He is the Lord of the East and the West, so will
our needs ever go outside of the East and the West? He tells us in Surat Al-Fuqan to put our
complete trust in Him, Who never dies, so how can we put our trust in people who do?
THIS IS OUR PROBLEM. WE DONT OPEN UP AND READ ALLAHS BOOK; IF WE
SOMEHOW MANAGE TO PICK IT UP, WE DONT UNDERSTAND IT, LET ALONE
REFLECT UPON IT!!!!

And the Messenger has said, "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur'an as [a thing]
abandoned." [Furan 25:30]

- Imagine the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) complaining about me and
you on day of Judgement for deserting the Quran? And why shouldnt he complain when he
(Peace and blessings be upon him) left behind the best of Books, the eternal miracle, the words
of Allah between our hands, and we simply put it on a shelf to collect dust!

[This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that they might reflect upon
its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded.[Saad 38:29]

- Imagine if we sought the answers to all of our difficult questions of life in the Quran. Could it
be possible? Lets put it to the test
YOU SAY and ALLAH SAYS:
- Its too difficult.

Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. [ash Sharh 94:6]

- No one can help me.

And be patient, [O Muhammad], and your patience is not but through Allah. [an Nahl 16:127]

- I dont have enough sustenance.

And those who have believed and done righteous deeds - for them is forgiveness and noble provision.
[al Hajj 22:50]
- I am overwhelmed.

If Allah should aid you, no one can overcome you; [al I Imran 3:160]

- I always feel ill.

And We send down of the Qur'an that which is healing and mercy for the believers [al Isra 17:82]

- I am struggling.

Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. [al Baqarah 2:286]

- I am sad and afraid.

Unquestionably, [for] the allies of Allah there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve [
Yunus 10:62]
- I am lost.

And He found you lost and guided [you], [ad Duha 93:7]

- Im ugly.

We have certainly created man in the best of stature; [at Tin 95:4]

- No one appreciates me.

Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. [al Mursalat 77:44]
- I feel humiliated.

Those are the believers, truly. For them are degrees [of high position] with their Lord [al Anfal 6:4]

- I cant forgive myself.

And ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him. Indeed, my Lord is Merciful and
Affectionate." [Hud 11:90]

- Many people have hurt me.

would have disbanded from about you. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them [al I Imran
3:159]
