75% of the campus journalists should have acquired the basic skills in campus journalism Campus writers should have developed and applied skills in writing and constructing articles in an effective manner More than 50% of the campus journalists should have participated and won in the said press conferences
Join, participate and win in various competitions namely: District Schools Press Conference Division Schools Press Conference Regional Schools Press Conference National Schools Press Conference
Campus journalists
Strengthen school paper advisers journalistic competencies to ensure proper handling and advising of the special journalism class and the official school publication
School paper advisers should have attended and participated in the said events to gain mastery in the different areas in campus journalism
C. Curriculum Development
Enhance and consistently develop the journalistic skills and competencies of school paper advisers and the campus journalists
District Supervisor in-charge of Educational Media School Heads School Paper Advisers
Sessions/classes in campus journalism should have been conducted all year round
Encourage pupil journalists to manifest their journalistic skills through exploring all the major areas in campus journalism
Production and lay-outing of two issues of school paper Gathering of relevant news clippings Keeping an album of assorted feature articles Conducting interviews Practicing news/events coverage
Campus journalists are expected to apply the basic principles of campus journalism in writing materials for publication and broadcasting that could be noted in the two issues of school paper they have produced and the regular updates and news about school events that are posted on a wall news section.
