Rediscover Your Marriage - Retrouvaille (pronounced retro-vi with a long i) simply means rediscovery. The program offers the chance to rediscover yourself, your spouse, and a loving relationship in your marriage. 10s of 1000s headed for divorce have successfully saved their marriage by attending. Retrouvaille is not a spiritual retreat, not a sensitivity group, not a seminar, not a social gathering. Couples from anywhere in Montana and Canada are welcomed to attend the Kalispell weekend October 18-20, 2013. For confidential information or to register call 800-470-2230 or 406761-4830 or email montana@retrouvaille.org. Retrouvaille is NOT just for couples whose marriage is on the verge of divorce or considered irrevocably broken. Perhaps you would like to rekindle the love of those early years or improve your communication. Visit our Montana website for emotionally moving personal testimonials. www.retrouvaillemt.org. You also can visit the International website for additional information http://www.retrouvaille.org/

Walking Toward Eternity

Daring to Walk the Walk
Join us for an inspiring 8-week video series designed to help you live your faith more fully by Jeff and Emily Cavins. Through daily prayer and meditation with Scripture, you will be drawn into an intimate and life-changing encounter with Christ. You will learn how to walk in the virtues of LOVE, HUMILITY, SACRIFICE, FORGIVENESS, PRAYERFULNESS, THANKFULNESS, and FAITHFULNESS. We will meet in the Parish Center on August 21st at 6:45 PM to begin this 8-part study. Final schedule will be set at the first meeting to see what day and time works for everyone. Each participant will need a journal as you follow the Walk. Journals are $15.95, and are available through Mary LaFond (406-390-0762). You will also need to bring your own Bible Come and see the inspiring stories of those who have faithfully walked in Christian virtue and commit to making real and lasting changes in your life.

Stewardship and Development

Stewardship Thought: Todays Scripture passages are full of difficult messages. The people punish the prophet Jeremiah for advising them to reform their lives. In St. Lukes Gospel, Jesus warns that His message may create tension and division, not peace and harmony, among family members. For faithful stewards, this is a cost of discipleship in the Lord. As Christian stewards, we find our strength to do Gods will, against all opposition to His Word, from the sacraments, especially the Eucharist. It is through these sacramental graces that we can, as professed in Hebrews, persevere while keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus. Healing among family members begins with Christs message of forgiveness.
Development Thought: The financial support you give to our Parish and to our Diocese is so important your gifts are the reason we can strengthen and build the Catholic Church in eastern Montana. Those of you who give in so many ways can never be thanked enough for all that you do, all that you give, and for simply living your life as a faithful Catholic you are most appreciated!

Carpeting Replacement
The carpeting on the main floor of St. Marys church has served the parish well for 30 years, but is overdue for replacement. In preparation for replacement, a number of parishioners have been asked to assist in choosing new carpeting.
Arts Furniture has given us an estimate of $9100 to replace all carpeting on the main floor, including the sanctuary and entrance. Any contributions to defray the expense of replacement will be greatly appreciated!

Confessions: Satur days 4 - 5 p.m., 1/2 hour before daily Mass (Mon.- Fri.) or by appointment Anointing of the Sick: Please contact Fr . Cor y as soon as possible for anointing.

Baptism: Normally celebrated at Sunday Mass. Parental sessions are required. Marriages: Six month couple pr epar ation per iod required. Please contact Fr. Cory before scheduling marriage date.

Mass Intentions
As Catholics, we have a long tradition of having Masses celebrated for those we wish to offer up in prayer. The Mass is the ultimate form of prayer, and each Mass is celebrated for an intention. Please consider having Masses celebrated for family and friends on special occasions and anniversaries, as well as those who are in need of prayers. Masses are also encouraged in memory of those loved ones who have died, especially on the anniversaries of their deaths. Contact Fr. Cory for more information! Follow us on Facebook and Twitter! EWTN News Nightly - Coming Soon!

EWTN is proud to announce the premiere of "EWTN News Nightly with Colleen Carroll Campbell." On Tuesday, September 3, the first daily news program tailored to Catholics will begin airing weeknights at 6 p.m. ET.

Pro-Life Messages
The National Vietnam Memorial in Washington DC is a shiny black wall that stretches 492 feet and lists the names of the 58,022 known Americans killed in that war. If such a wall listed the names of the children killed by abortion since 1973, the wall would be about 60 miles long! The casualties of our wars put together are fewer than the casualties from abortion in a single year.

Diaconate Ordination
Everyone is invited to the ordination of David Wilkins to the Transitional Diaconate, Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at 7:00 pm, St. Ann Cathedral, Great Falls, Montana. Reception to follow in the Heisey Center. Please pray for David and all our seminarians: Grant Kelly, Carlos Malaver-Parada, Garrett Nelson, Anthony Zilch.
