From The INBOX:
Many, many times Jesus said "Go and tell what you have seen." I hope through this email to tell you that I have
seen your prayers at work this morning.

Pastor Tom spoke this morning with one of the disruptive children that we have intentionally been praying
for. He took the child to the sanctuary, spoke with them, and prayed with and for them. The child was VERY
upset when they returned to the THIRST room.Tom and I sat with the child for a few minutes, during which
time this child began to get angry. They claimed “we didn't like them,” that I “pick on them,” and even
exclaimed “I am never coming back!”

We continued to express our love for this particular child and more importantly God's love for them. Then
the child began to strike itself in the face very hard! Tom said something to the effect of "come on now, don't
do that" and placed his hand on the kid’s shoulder. The child immediately growled at Tom to take his hand off.
We were both taken aback for a moment, but Tom quickly began to cast out demons.Together we prayed for
a minute or two that the demons be cast out in the name of Jesus Christ. The child began to shake, kick, and
flail their arms! After a calm and different kind of crying, all became still again.

Tom returned to the sanctuary and I kept a close watch on the child as we returned to THIRST. After five
minutes or so this child was playing a board game with its cousin, which rarely happens! I asked how they
were feeling, and after hesitating to evaluate the child proclaimed "I feel better." I asked the child to go let Tom
know how they were feeling and went straight to the sanctuary and gave him a BIG hug! This is your prayers
at work! AMEN! God is great.

I now plead with you not to stop praying. In Matthew 12 it tells us this of cast out demons...
43"When an evil spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid places seeking rest and
does not find it. 44Then it says, 'I will return to the house I left.' When it arrives, it finds the
house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. 45Then it goes and takes with it seven
other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition
of that man is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation."

Pray that when that spirit returns it does not find this child, or any of our children unoccupied. Call out their
name to God! The battle is still raging. There is still evil to be confronted.

Please continue to pray.

Yours in Christ,
Heather Marshall / THIRST Lay Leader
