Experience
Washington Mutual Intern July 2005 - July 2006
I was employed as a paid Junior Intern for Washington Mutual during my junior year of high school. My
tasks included completing customer transactions on Washington Mutual’s computer program, such as
deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, mortgage payments, and opening/closing accounts. I also
answered telephone calls from customers who had questions regarding their accounts. This position
provided me with the skills to use office machines (scanners, copiers, faxes, etc.), organize important
documents, keep a clean workspace, and work in a professional setting.

Nicholson Library September 2007 - May 2008

My position when I worked at the Nicholson Library in McMinnville, Oregon required me to run the
library’s circulation desk. I checked books in and out, organized shelves, opened new library card
accounts, made copies for town patrons, and assisted with computer and printer use in the library.

the class’ lesson plan and testing material.

Education
Aloha High School September 2003 - June 2007
In high school I played softball for 4 years and was one of the varsity team captains for my final two
years at Aloha. I was also involved in leadership as the ASB Secretary, as well as the National Honor
SocietySecretary. My weighted GPA was 4.13 as a result of my many AP classes during my senior
year. When I had graduated from Aloha I had taken AP European History, AP United States History, AP
Biology, AP Calculus, AP Government, AP Macroeconomics, and AP Microeconomics.

Linfield College September 2007 - Present

I am currently finishing up my second year at Linfield College with a GPA of 3.7. I am an Economics
major with minors in Mathematics and Spanish. I have developed close professional relationships with
many of my professors at Linfield. When I graduate from Linfield, I plan on pursuing a law degree with
a specialization in family law. Some math classes that I have taken include Calculus I and II, as well as
Linear Algebra. I will also be taking an advanced Probability and Statistics course in the fall of this
year.

Skills
I have an extensive amount of experience with children ranging from toddlers to high school
students. I have been babysitting since I was 12, and I am currently involved in Young Life, which is
an after school high school program. I have also had considerable experience with tutoring. I was a
personal pre-algebra tutor during my senior year of high school and I am currently tutoring for the
economics department at Linfield.
