Shirts without collars (an exception applies to womens attire and to the modern mock neck shirts for men). Singlet type tops for women. Denim shirts or jeans of any description. length pants (an exception applies to womens attire) Tracksuit pants/tops or any type of gymnasium attire. Slacks must not be worn tucked into socks (unless plus 2s or plus 4s). Shirts, which have been designed for such purpose may be worn outside of trousers/shorts and must not hang below the hip or deemed to be inappropriate or untidy. A rule of thumb is 4 fingers below the belt. Golf shoes (fitted with non-metal spikes) must be worn on the course and practice grounds by all players. Metal spikes are not permitted. Members are at all times responsible for the attire of their guests. Guests must be informed of dress regulations in advance to avoid embarrassment.
