Guideposts For Strict Compliance By Teachers and Other School Personnel


1. 2. 3. Accomplish Form 48 and logbook daily. Time in upon arrival and time out at the end of the session/day. Fill in the data of F-48, signature at the bottom and home address at the lower back portion. Reflect undertime, absences. Submit accomplished F-48 one day before the end of each month. Prepare lesson plans everyday for whatever activity you engage in with the pupils. Do not come to school without it. Have your Table Must ready everyday. Maintain high standard in the following: Preparation of daily lesson plan Room structuring Boardwork Instructional aids/materials Observe punctuality in coming to school, attending school related activities and promptness in submitting reports as scheduled or agreed upon. Avoid inflicting corporal punishment Every teacher is a guidance teacher. Prepare anecdotal records of pupils with serious behavioral problems as one of the bases for legitimate actions/decisions. Observe zero collection policy. No unauthorized collections/contributions from pupils. Remit immediately to the schools finance officer any authorized collections to avoid delay of remittances to concerned agencies/organizations. Request immediately for copies of Form 137 of transferred-in pupils to ensure complete records of pupils after the first semester of the schoolyear. No direct selling to the pupils by teachers. Pupils will buy only from the Childrens Store and School Canteen. Conduc remedial activities to poor learners/readers. Visitors other than DepEd, NCR, DCS officials should not be entertained during class hours. Emphasize good classroom management. Establish childrens routine activities. Reflect the true and correct enrollment data in your Form 1. Indicate dropouts and transferees with date, reason, and school/division where transferring. Secure permission from the office for any plan to change class schedule and activities. Conduct regular conferences with parents or if possible home visits. Re: behavior, pupils strengths and weaknesses. Wear always the teachers prescribed uniform and I.D. everyday. Be the models to your pupils. Appropriate dress for wash day. No pupil/s must be sent for an errand outside the school during or after classes. No teacher should leave pupils unattended during class hours/school activities. Fetch pupils from the assembly up to the classroom, and accompany pupils up to the gate during dismissal. Primary and intermediate teachers should step out of the classrooms to supervise mobilization. Observe protocol in the conduct of school business. Monitor closely the behavior of pupils. There should be no loitering around and unnecessary noise should be avoided. Avoid drinking. gambling and smoking while in school and on official time. Every teacher/school personnel must look into the security and safety of the classroom and school premises like open switches, hanging fluorescent lamps, broken windows, debris or hazards that may cause pupil injuries. In case of emergency, unavoidable circumstances, teachers going out on official time should inform the office and sign the logbook provided for the purpose. Only the principal can sign application forms for loans with the GSIS, Pag-ibig, MALABON Savings. Every room should be properly secured, locked and free from vandalism. Each teacher using the room will be held responsible for its upkeep, safety and good physical condition. Report immediately any loses/destruction to the Property Custodian. The school telephone is strictly For Official Use Only. No long distance calls or inquiry in PLDT 114. Check the attendance of pupils everyday. Teacher in-charge should record the absences in Form 1. Subject teacher should check the attendance of every class being handled. Pupils should not be released to unauthorized persons during class hours. File Form 6 (Application for Leave of Absence) in case of foreseen absences / immediately upon return to duty after an absence. Update entries in Form 137 of each pupil every end of the grading period. Issue Form 138 at the end of the grading period during HRPTA meetings as scheduled.
