Installing/Uninstalling Software -----------------------------------------------------------------------* Installing from CD-ROM

- Close all open applications. - Insert the CD-ROM labeled "MadgeTech Data Recorder Software" into the host computer's CD-ROM drive. - From the Windows Start menu, choose the "Run..." command. - type "D:\v2.06\setup.exe" into the "Open" field and click "OK". - If you are using a CD-ROM drive other than the "D:\" drive, use that drive letter in the step above. - Follow the on screen instructions to install the software. After installation, the software will be listed on the Windows Start menu under the "MadgeTech 2.06" software program group by default. The program files will be located in the "C:\Program Files\MadgeTech 2.06\" directory. To uninstall the software, open the Windows Start menu and locate the "MadgeTech 2.06" software program group. Click the "Uninstall MadgeTech 2.06" item and follow the on screen instructions to remove the software. -----------------------------------------------------------------------4. A: You will receive this error message if you are running Windows 95 or Windows 98 and do not have Microsoft's distributed COM (DCOM) package installed.
