THE DREAM
Through my many years in the restaurant business,
my brother and I have dreamed of having our own
place. As fate would have it, my journey brought
me to Mankato. It's here that I met my wife and
re-united with my friends at the former Timberlodge
Steakhouse. As Manager of the Lodge, I listened to
the people of Mankato. You said you were tired of
the chain restaurants, and you wanted quality food
at reasonable prices with good service in a warm and
friendly atmosphere.
We use all the finest ingredients available to us. All
Pancake and Waffle batters are made here from
scratch. Our butter maple syrup is made fresh daily
right here in our own kitchen. Everything from
whipped cream and triple berry jam to our soups are
made right here with care and a touch of creativity.
If it's thick-cut bacon in the morning, or slow roasted
prime rib in the evening, we are here to meet your
needs. Northwoods Cafe & Grill serves breakfast
and lunch all day, every day, and dinner begins at
3:00pm everyday.
