This following is a rare hymn of Lord Dhanvantari (incarnation of Lord Vishnu) from
Sudarshana Samhita. This hymn worships Lord Dhanvantari to ward off all diseases and
untimely death. The brief Phalashruti mentions that the chanter of this hymn accrues the

Protection of pregnancy (Garbha Raksha)

Long life for youngsters

Relief from all kinds of diseases and distresses
