Procurement and Supply Chain Management is one of the most dynamic, forward-thinking, and far-reaching groups in all of BP . Were involved in every aspect of the petroleum industry and making a powerful impact on the future of the business every day. To help us grow the company, were looking for innovative Procurement/Supply Chain Management professionals who are able to quickly assume broad responsibility. To support all that responsibility, youll need solid technical knowledge along with problem analysis, problem-solving skills, and the willingness to make risk-taking decisions. Teamwork, both within the company and with partners, customers and suppliers, is critical. At entry level, Procurement/Supply Chain Management professionals assist in the development and implementation of strategies and tactics for assigned areas of responsibility, which could include chemicals, facility management, engineered equipment, or drilling

and well services. Work includes determining the best sourcing approach to meet specific business needs, and Internet-based buying and selling. Procurement/Supply Chain Management specialists also determine the total cost of ownership (TCO), which allows for a full assessment of initial purchase, logistics, and maintenance, operational and eventual disposal costs. When you join BP , youll join a global network of Procurement/Supply Chain Management professionals working within our three basic business areas:

Refining and Marketing is responsible for the supply, trading, refining, marketing and transportation of crude oil and petroleum products to wholesale and retail customers. BP owns or has an interest in 23 oil refineries, five of which are in the U.S. Marketing is comprised of three business areas: Retail, Lubricants and Business-to-Business Marketing. BP markets a comprehensive range of refined oil products worldwide including gasoline, gasoil, marine and aviation fuels, heating fuels, LPG, lubricants and bitumen. The BP chemicals business, which manufactures various feedstock and specialty chemicals, has recently been integrated into the Refining and Marketing segment.

Exploration and Production, which includes oil and natural gas exploration and field development and production, as well as the management of crude oil and natural gas pipelines. BP currently has Exploration and Production interests in 25 countries. Gas, Power and Renewables focuses on maximizing the value of BPs gas products through marketing activities; increasing the value of natural gas liquids (NGL) production; and building a profitable renewables business, including solar power and wind farms. Other business segment activities include gas-fired power generation.

To lead us into the future, youll need a B.S./B.A. in Materials and Logistics Management/Supply Chain Management or Industrial Distribution, exceptional analytical skills, fresh ideas and energy to grow.
