What do you feel he (Swindell) is trying to convey? When reading the quote Partner and agree I think he is trying to convey that attitude is the most important aspect of health, and because it is so pick 3 simple words that upon 3 words. Fight closely connected to behavior, it is the most powerful. Also, it is important because we can control it stick out to you! it out . more than any other of the determinants. 1. Choice 1. Not able to 4: How do you feel about the portion of the quote life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react 2. Charge 2. to it. Do you agree or disagree and explain why. 3. React 3. I agree with it for the most part, as Mr. Bondi fully agrees with it, though I feel it is a bit oversimplified. I think it should be elaborated a bit more so as to include the concept of you making things happen to other people. Part II: Locus of Control 1: Define Locus of Control.

Your view of how much control you have over your own life.

2: Take this survey (must sign up) and put results here.

3: Define. Internal Locus of Control: Belief in self-determination External Locus of Control: Fatalistic, Belief that destiny is out of ones own control

4: Come up with a real life example and explain how someone with an internal vs. external locus of control would handle it differently. American Dream: a person with an internal locus of control would fully believe in it, while a person with an external locus of control would see the reality that American society is a plutocracy governed by a few rich people and the corporations they own Part III: Attitude is the Father of Behavior 1: How does your attitude affect your decisions? Give an example. 2: Highlight or underline which items we have control over in the equation below. 3: Explain how attitude could be viewed as a decision. Use the term control. Because attitude controls behavior (which is made up of decisions), change in attitude can lead to change in behavior/decisions (essentially by the Transitive Property).

Attitude in large part can be thought of as your fluctuating moral code, and moral code is what most decisions are at least somewhat based on. For example, if you are angry due to a relationship issue, you might have more road rage, and cut off cars and blare on your horn constantly.

Events+ Thoughts=Feelings
