take some time off from his pastoral duties. Saturday, May 2, Mel and Geneva
Order of Worship Rufenacht will be married in a ceremony at Blossom Hill Mennonite Church at
Prelude Jessica Horning 4:30 p.m. In addition to the joys and challenges in preparing for the wedding,

Sermon Steve McCosby -Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) has made us aware of an urgent need
Scripture Reading Steve McCosby for Newborn Kits. Giving children a healthy, clean start to life is important.
Song Leader Sylvia Eberly Newborn Kits help do this. In 2008 MCC distributed more than 10,000 of these
Sunday School Nursery Tamarah & Kelly kits, with many going to those affected by ongoing violence in Iraq. A Newborn
Church Nursery Roxanne & Cindy Kit includes the following new items in 3-9 month size. (Items should not be made

The offering last week was $2,945.75. 2 gowns or sleepers made of lightweight cotton

May 21,Thurs.- Bowmansville District Sewing Circle has a work day at MCC's
Material Resource Center, Trout Run Road, Ephrata, from 9 AM to 3 PM. There
will be a variety of work for men and women of all ages. While MCC is aware of
many needs throughout the world, they cannot effectively help with these needs
unless volunteers give of their time at the Resource Center. Your help is needed.
Why not mark your calendar now and plan to spend all or part of the day helping
with this relief work?
