1) Who Are you Listening To?

As a child of God, it matters who youre listening to. God is concerned about who you listen to because your life is the expression of all youve built into you; friends youve been listening to, those whove been advising you, sharing with you and talking with you. You cannot be different from the information youve accumulated in your spirit. As you grow in your Christian walk, learn to listen to godly men and women whose lifestyle is from heaven. You cant watch every television programme, listen to every tape, or read every newspaper. This is so important because in a matter of time, what youre made of, as a result of what youve been listening to, will show up in your attitude, your finances, and your life as a whole. Choose today to listen to those who truly know the Lord. Hebrews 13:7/1Corinthians 15:33

2) Stand Up For What You Believe!

Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us (Luke 1:1). When youre fully dedicated to the preaching of the gospel and are making maximum impact for the Lord, you may find yourself facing fierce oppositions and persecutions ; but you should remain unperturbed. Count it all joy (James 1: 2) It doesnt matter who is against you today or persecutions youve had to face for the sake of gospel; refuse to compromise. Stand up for what believe. Face the challenge and win. Go beyond walls of the Church out to the marketplace of life, there, be bold to stand up for Christ. the the you the and

Remember, youre accountable to the Lord, so you cant say your parents, or an uncle or aunt that youre living with, or your spouse or your boss in the office is stopping you from serving God. Even if they confront you and threaten you, refuse to give up. Continue in the faith, and stay in the Word. Speak to the Lord in prayer and present the situation before Him, and before long, things will definitely change in your favour. 3) Let The Word Dominate You!

As you take the Word into you, it goes first into your mind, then into your spirit. Then, as you continue to meditate on it, it goes right into your physical body, and impacts every fiber of your being. Just as the food you eat is broken down and absorbed until it becomes part of you, so also the Word of God that you receive into you goes right into your spirit and becomes in you what it says. The Bible says Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all (1Timothy4:15). What things are you supposed to meditate on? Gods Word! It says give yourself completely to the Word. Thats another way of saying let Gods Word dominate you. Meditate on the Word to the point that it literally oozes out of your entire beingspirit, soul and body. Listen, study, and meditate on the scriptures until you can only think the Word way. Make the quality decision today to let Gods Word dominate you. Be a doer and not just a hearer of the Word. Have definite times when you listen to Gods Word and study the Scriptures voraciously. Have definite times of meditation, when you ruminate on the Word and speak it until it soaks deeply into you. As you allow the Word of God dominate you, sickness, failure and everything that comes from the devil will not find place in your life! Youll live victoriously every day.

4) Hold On To That Which Belongs To You

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses (1 Timothy 6:12). Dont give it up for anything in the world; dont let satan rob you of your joy, victory, success, prosperity or potentialities. Make up your mind to be all that God chose you to be and let nothing stop you. Refuse to be bound by thoughts of fear and boldly reject anything that negates Gods Word concerning you. Gods Word gives you confidence, boldness and assurance of victory, success, peace, joy and health. All these and more belong to you in Christ. Dont compromise them. The good life is yours; prosperity is yours; and most importantly, eternal life is yours. Lay hold on them and live a glorious life always.

5) You Can Change That Situation!

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18). God is not perturbed when youre faced with an unpleasant situation? In fact, Hes happy to see you face that challenge because He knows you can change any situation. Paul lets us that the things which are seen are temporary, subject to change. God is expecting to see you overcome all the challenges you face in life, knowing that you have all it takes to come out victoriously. You may have been told you cant have children, or youve been diagnosed with a terminal disease, or youve been without a job since you graduated five years ago. It doesnt matter what the situation is or how hopeless it seems, God is waiting to see you change it because He knows you can. Realize that you have arrived in the place of change where you can change whatever situation youre confronted with. Start by working on your believing. Get the Word concerning that situation and meditate on it until you arrive at the point of faith. When faith comes, act on it and take possession of what youve believed. God honours you and promotes you to a higher level spiritually for every triumph of your faith. So make up your mind to activate your faith and change every negative situation, since your spiritual promotions are based on such conquests. (FS: 2 Corinthians 4:13)

6) Turn Your Face Away From Men

Therere times you may find yourself confronted with a difficult situation. Its time you turned your face away from men! Stop talking to men about the situation. You already told everybody and they couldnt do anything about it. So stop talking to them. Instead turn to the Lord in prayer. God alone has the ability to supply all that you need according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). 1 Peter 5:7 (AMP) says Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately {and} cares about you watchfully. In Psalm 50:15, He said, ...call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. The Lord is your very present help in times of need (Psalm 46:1); so if you find yourself in a dire situation, all you need do is call on Him. Hes ever willing and delighted to hear your voice and answer your prayers: For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers (1 Peter 3:12). The result of Hezekiahs intense prayer was that not only did God reverse his death sentence; He added fifteen more years to his life (2 Kings 20:6). God is no respecter of persons. If He did it for Hezekiah, Hell do it for you too, if only youll quit seeing men as your source of help and turn to Him in full assurance of faith. 7) Cheer Up; Theres Hope For You!

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost (Romans 15:13).

Never think the situation you might be facing is too hopeless, for no problem is insurmountable. Theres hope for you in Christ! It makes no difference the medical condition youve been diagnosed with or the state of your finances; cheer up, theres hope for you. The Bible says Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27). Look forward to tomorrow with excitement; keep your hope alive. Nurture it to the point it cant be den ied. You too can be healed; you can achieve that desire in your heart. Its not over for you yet; see the ray of light in the horizon, for theres a miracle for you right now in that situation for which you require a change. Hallelujah!

8) The Sanctification Of The Spirit

You cant know the Holy Spirit until you open yourself up to Him. He is a Person and if you relate with Him as such, Hell teach you Gods Word, reveal beautiful things to you from the Word of God and empower you. You become a witness when you receive the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8). A witness is a proof producer; you produce proof of the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the reality of the Kingdom of God. Its the Holy Spirit that enables you to do that. When you have the Holy Spirit, you become a totally different person. You cant do anything for God without the Holy Ghost. Whatever you do, if its not sanctified by the Holy Spirit, its not acceptable to God. Jesus could not offer Himself to God without spot all by Himself, He had to do it through the Holy Spirit (Hebrews 9:14). When you offer anything to God, its got to be through the Holy Spirit; He sanctifies it and only then can it be acceptable to God. Make up your mind to do everything by the power of the Holy Spirit, and not just byyour human ability.

9) Have Respect For The Anointing

Understand that what you respect, you attract. If you want to walk in the anointing of Gods Spirit, you must have respect for the anointing. Honour and respect Gods anointed servants. Under no circumstance should you speak evil of them, seeing that theyre anointed of the Lord. God said in Psalms 105:15, ...touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

10) Pray More In The Spirit!

(1 Corinthians 14:14-15). When you pray with the spirit, your understanding is unfruitful, meaning your mind doesnt get what youre saying, because its coming from your spirit. But when you pray with the understanding, youre praying in a language you understand, through your mind. The proper order and priority in our prayer as revealed in scripture is to pray with the spirit, and then pray with the understanding also. Praying with the understanding is the also part of the equation. So you ought to pray more with the spirit, by speaking in other tongues. If you have it in the reverse order, youll shortchanging yourself. Sadly, some Christians start by praying in their understanding and interject prayer with a little praying in the spirit. The Spirits admonition is for you to pray more in other tongues than in your understanding. When you pray in this manner, your life will be dominated by the Spirit and not the senses. Your responses to situations will always be from the standpoint of the Spirit! So, make it a conscious practice to pray more in other tongues. Let praying in the spirit take the most part of your prayer time. Remember, the Bible says we dont even know how best to pray concerning anything due to the limitation of our minds (Romans 8:26); but through praying in the spirit, youre praying the will of God.

11) Give Yourself A Quick Charge

For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing (Isaiah 28:11-12). Man is a spirit who has to communicate with spirit beings in the realm of the spirit. But because he lives in a material world, he cant ordinarily do this. But the new creature can because he has a recreated spirit, which God gives a new language by the Holy Spirit. This language is a spiritual one that no human being can understand except by a special gift of the Holy Ghost. Whenever a believer speaks in tongues, he charges up his spirit like a battery. described as quick charging. Long charging requires fasting, careful planning, and prayer, but if you need a quick charge, all you have to do is speak in tongues. If you were going for an interview and discovered you were feeling nervous, just start speaking in tongues. It will not take a minute and suddenly you will be another man. The Bible says He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth (emboldens) himself (1 Corinthians 14:4). Speaking in tongues is a sign. It is the rest and the refreshing with which the weary is caused to rest and be refreshed, Hallelujah! Its possible for a believer to think he has a lot of problems to pray about and if he doesnt mention all of them, God wouldnt know. God knows your heart and also knows about all the crises you face. When you yield your tongue to the Holy Ghost, youll speak mysteries about those things. Youll release spiritual missiles from your spirit, because He says out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water (John 7:38). Keep on speaking in tongues! Jude1:20/1Corinthians 14:2

12) He causes you to see

A blind man in the realm of the spirit is one who doesnt know spiritual things. Every Christian needs to depend on the Holy Spirit to help him understand the truth and respond to it accordingly. There can be no Christianity without the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah!

13) He Is Your Helper

"Our help is from the Lord who made heaven and earth" (Psalm 124:8 TLB). We have the greatest Helper living inside us twenty-four hours a day. Hes not just with you for a while but forever. I tell you, thats good news. Hallelujah! David didnt have the privilege of having this glorious Helper live inside him, yet he was bold enough to declare, The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? (Psalm 118:6). From studying about him we see this truth manifested in his life. Hes the One Who raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lords, and he hath set the world upon them (1 Samuel 2:8). Remember that the Lord has said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me (Hebrews 13:5-6). He has given you what to say. Declare the wonderful things that have been written about you in the Word and enjoy the wonderful ministry and sweet fellowship with this gracious Helper; theres nobody like Him.

14) Recognize His Presence

"And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you" (John 14:16-17). God sent us the Holy Spirit to guide us so we dont miss our way or lose focus of His plans and purposes for our lives. Therefore, its the ministry of the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you into the truth about your future. This is why you must recognize and take full advantage of His presence with you. Theres no failure to the man thats connected to the Holy Spirit. Theres no defeat for you when you recognize and are conscious of His presence. There are people whose visions have come to an end; they dont know where to go or what to do anymore. Their lives have become miserable as they grope in the dark. If only such folks would recognize and become connected to the Holy Spirit, their visions would be renewed. When you recognize and fellowship with Him, youll never lose your way. He can tell you what to do and show you where to go. He is Gods blessing to you, sent to lead, guide, teach and strengthen you. No longer will you be weak, for He is your Strengthener. Theres such a unique freshness about the lives of those who are acquainted with the Holy Spirit and are connected to Him through fellowship. Experience that freshness today as you take advantage of His presence.

15) Youre Called Into Gods Rest

This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it (Psalm 132:14). Gods idea is for you to live in rest everyday of your life. He doesnt want you struggling or toiling to make ends meet. The Bible says: There remaineth therefore a rest to
the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief (Hebrews 4:9-11).

Theres a rest for Gods people. When you enter the rest of God, all your struggles will cease, your worries will be over and your confidence in Gods Word will soar beyond every limitation youve hitherto had. The Scripture describes usthe new creationas partakers of Gods divine nature. This means were sharers, partners and participators of the divine nature. Were entitled to enjoy and benefit from the immense treasures and attributes of God with the exclusion of nothing. Entering and living in His rest is one of such blessings weve been called to enjoy. Dont cheat yourself or allow anyone or circumstance cheat you out of the life youre called to live. The way to live in Gods rest is living by faith in Gods Word. Follow Gods Word with diligence and apply it in all that you do, and live a stress-free life.

16) Learn To Fight From Heaven!

They fought from heaven; the stars in their courses fought against Sisera (Judges 5:20). When youre faced with opposition, dont fight from this earthly realmlearn to fight from heaven. Lets imagine theres someone threatening your job at work because youre born again. Rather than cry O, God, why me? or try to lobby some powerful people to plead for your job, you ought to get home, lock yourself in your room and begin to speak in tongues violently, directing your mind towards the situation. As you do this, angels will be mobilized, and circumstances will be shifted for your sake. Things will be rearranged in your favour. No wonder the Bible says all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28). This is the reason I always say that as a child of God, you can never be disadvantaged. Theres no need for dejection, sadness or despair, for nothing and no one can successfully stand against you when you learn to fight from heaven. When you know how to fight from heaven, youll never lean on the arm of flesh, for you know that your help comes from the Lord of heaven and earth! 17) All Things Are Yours!

What are those things you think youre in need of in your life? Once you identify them, instead of asking, just claim them. Understand that God isnt going to bless you any more than Hes already done. Hes already blessed you with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians1:3). Thus instead of asking for blessings, you ought to manifest blessings! You need to live daily with the consciousness that nothing is impossible or too difficult for you to get! David understood this and said The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.... Theres no lack to the child of God. Youre the possessor of all things, for youre the seed of Abraham: And if ye be Christs, then are ye Abrahams seed, and heirs according to the promise (Galatians 3:29). All things have been made available to you in Christ, reach out by faith today and begin to enjoy your inheritance. 1 Corinthians 2:12/Romans 8:32/Psalm 23:1-2

18) Develop An Attitude Of Success

So David waxed greater and greater: for the Lord of hosts was with him (1 Chronicles 11:9). Gods dream for you is that you consistently make progress and heap success upon success. He expects you to be increasingly fruitful and productive in all your endeavours. Thats what Jesus meant when He said, I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch that doesnt produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more... My true disciples produce much fruit. This brings great glory to my Father (John 15:1-8 NLT). In other words, if youre already successful and productive, the Lord prunes you to be even more productive. Become success conscious. Success mentality will keep you from mundanity and the average life, and help you imbibe a culture of excellence. Be excited everyday, because God has already made you a success! You have in you what it takes to confront the crises of life and win. Proverbs 4:18/Psalm 1:3

19) You're Anointed For Good Works!

God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him (Acts 10:38). Jesus Himself testified that the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works (John 14:10); He wasnt referring to the Father in heaven, but to the Holy Spirit that indwelt Him. It was the Holy Spirit that brought power into His life. Now, for us who are born again, weve been anointed by the same Holy Spirit for good works. The Bible lets us know that the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in us today (Romans 8:11); that same Spirit vitalizes and energizes us for good works. No wonder were described in Scripture as peculiar people, zealous and empowered for good works (Titus 2:14). The anointing for the miraculous came into your life when you received the Holy Spirit. This is why in Matthew 10:8, the Master instructs that you heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, and cast out devils. Like Jesus, youve been anointed for good works; in your sphere of contact, you ought to be doing good, healing all that are oppressed of the devil, for God is with you. What you need in your life is the Holy Spirit, and the day-to-day consciousness of His indwelling presence. He

Jesus said, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father (John 14:12). 20) Your Hands Are The Lord's Hands!

21) You Can Make Godly Decisions

We all make decisions everyday. Where you are today is a result of decisions you made yesterday. The school youre in, the house you live, the church you attend, the kind of friends you keep, the clothes you wear, even the place you workthese are all products of your choices and decisions. Notwithstanding, your ability to decipher and make the right choices in life at all times is what sets you on the path of greatness and success. The worlds system might try to dictate the things you do and the decisions you make, but refuse to be controlled by the worlds ways of doing things, for youre not of this world (John 15:19). Stick by the principles of the Word of God, and youll be guided in Gods perfect will for your life. You dont have to learn by somebodys mistake or make mistakes before you finally get to your place of destiny in God. 22) Put Away Bitterness and Malice (Ephesians 4: 31-32)

Bitterness and malice are offshoots of unforgiveness. As a child of God, you should act like your heavenly Father, who never recalls offences. Malice and bitterness will take the shine out of your life. If you want the beauty of God to be seen in your life, then refuse to keep malice or be bitter. Dont regard the wrongs done to you by others to the extent that you become bitter. One of the most dangerous effects of harbouring bitterness or malice in your heart is that it short-circuits the power of God in your life, making you unable to function with the Spirit. Dont open the door to satan in your life through bitterness and malice; put them away completely. If youve held anything against anyone, its time to sincerely forgive them and show them the love of the Father.

23) Talk God's Word, Not Your Feelings!

The challenge some Christians face when they are confronted with trying situations is knowing what to say. Even when they know what the Bible has said concerning their peculiar situation, they seem to be overwhelmed because theyre not focusing on the Word. Therefore, rather than voice their faith they voice their situations. For example, therere folks who would say, Ive been sick since last week or Ive been so broke for three weeks. Then, therere others who have graduated from this first level and would rather say, Ive been feeling sick since last week or Ive not had money for a long time. The problem with these two classes of people is pretty much the same: theyve taken upon themselves the responsibility of saying what theyre experiencing, instead of speaking the Word of God. God never said you should describe your experiences, or narrate how you feel. Declare that youre Abrahams seed, therefore abundant wealth is your present-hour possession. The Holy Spirit has come to live in you, to teach you the language of the Kingdom and give you the right words to speak. Refuse to voice your feelings; speak the Word, and only that which is consistent with your nature in Christ.

24) Refuse To Be Sick!

No one in Zion will say, "I'm sick." Best of all, they'll all live guilt-free (Isaiah 33:24 MSG). As a new creation in Christ Jesus, your human life has been supplanted with Gods divine life. The blood that flows through your veins is no longer what gives life to your physical body, for the life of the new creation is not in the blood. Though the Bible declares that the life of the flesh is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11), thats for the man who isnt born again. mortal bodiesby his Spirit that dwelleth in you (Romans 8:11). The word quicken as used above is from the Greek word zoopoieo which means to give life or make alive; it also means to vitalize. Thus as one in whom the Spirit of God dwells, sickness, disease and infirmity shouldnt find place in your physical body because the Life-giver lives in you. Understand that sickness is insipient death. Therefore its something you must reject with absolute vehemence, for in the Kingdom of God where you belong, sickness is not a part of our heritage. Your physical body has become Gods habitation; sickness has no right to co-exist with the Holy Spirit in your body, therefore refuse to be sick! Somebody says, But how about the terrible pain Im feeling in my body right now? Well, that pain is only a mirage! Its called lying vanity, and the Bible says They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy (Jonah2:8). Refuse to observe the pain! Rather, contemplate divine health. Youre not the sick trying to be healed; youre the healed of God. Divine health is your birthright. If sickness tries to fasten itself on your physical body, you say I refuse to accommodate this sickness in the Name of Jesus! If its a growth, put your hand on it and say I command this growth to die in the Name of Jesus! Remember, the life of God is in you, therefore refuse to be sick! 1 Peter 2:24/Romans 8:11

25) Greater Truths And Lesser Truths

And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also (Genesis 1:16). In the Scriptures, light represents truth. Thus in the same way God made two physical lights (the sun and the moon), one being greater than the other, so also there are greater truths and lesser truths revealed to us in the Word of God. All the wonderful truths revealed to us in the gospel dont rank equally; some are greater than others. Your desire should be to always function in the revelation of the greater truths. Studying the life of the Lord Jesus will show you clearly how to walk in the greater truths of Gods Word. Divine healing, for example, is a truth and a blessing from God; its wonderful to know that no matter the nature of the sickness, you can receive healing. But theres a greater truth to that, and its the fact that you can live in divine health everyday of your life; Im talking about a state where youre sickness, disease and infirmity free never needing to be healed. We never read in the Bible that one day, Jesus had cold or headache, or contacted the flu, and then sent Peter to assemble the other disciples to pray for Him to be healed. He lived in divine health.

The Bible refers to healing as the childrens bread (Matthew 15:26). In other words, it is children (spiritual babes) that require healing. As you mature in the things of the Spirit, you leave the good things for the best you move from asking for healing to living in divine health. Deliverance is also a great truth, but living in divine protection is a greater truth. All through the ministry of Jesus, He never needed to be set free or delivered from the devil or any trouble. Theres something greater and better than you getting into trouble for God to bring you out of it; thats divine protectionGod shielding you completely from trouble. Its a function of the revelation that you have. When you understand that your life is hid with Christ in God (Colossians3:3), and that in Him you live, and move and have your being (Acts 17:28), youll not be deliverance conscious, for you know that nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19). So, in your life, put the Word to work! Measure your lifes experiences with the Word and the life of the Lord Jesus, and function continually in the greater truths of Gods Word.

26) Get Serious With The Word

How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through thy precepts I get understanding Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path (Psalm 119:103-105).

It doesnt matter how big or grandiose your dreams are, the Word is powerful enough to bring them to pass. Regardless of where you are today, if you settle down with the Word of God, itll give you permanent prosperity. Im not talking about prosperity for a few months or years, but unshakeable wealth with sure foundations. You have to make the right investment in Gods Word. Now dont just go buying books and displaying them on your shelf; youve got to read them. Buy tapes, CDs and DVDs and listen to them. Dont assume you were in the church service so you heard everything; rather, take some time to listen to the message again and again. You cant listen to Gods Word long enough without it making lasting and remarkable impact on your life.

27) You're The Caretaker Of Your Physical Body

Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:6) Your body belongs to God, He made you its custodian (1 Corinthians 6:20). Therefore, if ever sickness, disease, or the devil attacks your body, its up to you to do something about it. Lots of people get sick because they dont take care of their physical bodies. Many of them even after getting healed dont maintain proper sanitary and hygienic conditions. They go back to the same unhygienic practices that caused the sickness in the first place and so they get sick again. Its important that you learn to keep your body healthy and strong; ensure proper hygiene. Dont wear your body out from excessive labour; get the right information on how to make your body healthier so you can serve God better!

28) The Wisdom Of Man Versus The Wisdom Of God!

And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power (1 Corinthians 2:4).

At its best, the wisdom of men is still foolishness in the sight of God: For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness (1 Corinthians 3:19). This is one reason the so-called philosophers, sages of our day and even theologians arent acquainted with the things of the Spirit! The Bible says, But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory (1 Corinthians 2:7). The wisdom of God gives you insight into esoteric events; things that men find difficult to comprehend. When youre functioning by the wisdom of God, you dont recognize barriers or limitations in life! Your language is different. You talk health instead of sickness; you speak abundance instead of lack, and speak success instead of failure. Thats how the wisdom of God speaks. When you function by the wisdom of God, you dont allow your senses control you. You dont act or speak according to how you feel or what your sense can perceive. For example, irrespective of the pain you might be feeling in your body, Gods wisdom teaches that you

speak your health. But mans wisdom teaches you to voice what you feel. The Bible never tells us to voice our feelings; thats the wisdom of men. Youre to speak healing and health in spite of the pain! Not so the pain will leave, but because you know that sickness and disease cant find place in your physical body since youre the healed of God! Youve come to the full awareness that by His stripes you were healed of every sickness, disease and infirmity (1 Peter 2:24); therefore that becomes your language. Thats how to function by the wisdom of Godits called living in consonance with the Word. You received the wisdom of God when you were born again; put that wisdom to work today. Stir it up by meditating and speaking forth the Word of God.

29) Learn To Lift Your Holy Hands To The Lord!

(1 Timothy 2:8).

Theres something deeply spiritual and pleasing to God about lifting your hands to Him in worship and prayer. In Psalm 141:2, David said, Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice (Psalm 141:2). The phrase My spirit prayeth indicates that your spirit is activated, as praying in tongues is a means of activating your spirit. As this happens it impacts your body and soul. 31) Through The Holy Ghost

Jesuswas taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen. (Acts 1:1-2) Its the same today: when the Word of God comes to you, it comes through the Holy Spirit. He helps you, uplifts you and takes away every burden, sickness, disease, infirmity, weakness and limitation. The Holy Spirit of God is with you and in you today! Hes real; in fact Hes more real than anyone around you. You only need to acknowledge Him and relate with Him by faith. Rom 15:18-19he has used me to win the Gentiles to God. I have won them by my message and by the good way I have lived before them and by the miracles done through me as signs from God-all by the Holy Spirit's power. 32) You are the altar of God

God wants you now to know that where you are is where His altar is, for the altar is in the temple, and you are His temple. He wants you to turn everywhere you are to the place of His presence! Thus pray in the room, speak in tongues in the kitchen, and dance in the Spirit in the bathroom! Turn your whole home into the place of Gods presence, such that anyone who comes in walks right into the presence of God. Saturate your home; make your entire home the altar of God. Do it everywhere you go.

33) The Anointing For Expansion!

The mimshach anointing is the anointing that causes you to spread and expand in everything you get involved with. Little wonder the Lord said in Isaiah 54:2, Clear lots of ground for your tents! God wants you to grow and expand in all things; He wants you to become influential and powerful as you function through the mimshach anointing.

34) Yield To The Spirit!

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God (Romans 8:14). One of the most beautiful experiences you can have is for the Holy Spirit to take over your soul; that is, to take over your mental and physical faculties. When this happens, youre literally moved and controlled by the Holy Spirit. Part of your experience will be what Ezekiel described when he said And the spirit .set me upon my feet... (Ezekiel 2:2). When the Spirit takes over your soul, youll say and do things that are beyond your understanding! Your life will become truly supernatural. Like Philip, you may find yourself transported by the Holy Spirit (Acts 8:39). Ive learnt to yield my faculties to the Spirit of God. Ive had several experiences when I knew that the words I spoke and the actions I took were not just me, but the Spirit in action. At such times, great miracles take place because the Holy Spirit is in control. Sometimes, you may find yourself just crying and groaning in prayer, unable to speak; thats the Spirit in control! The more obedient you are in yielding to His promptings within, the more He can work. His purpose out through you. 35) Speaking In Other Tongues!

As you pray in tongues, the anointing is stirred within you and, suddenly, youre turned into another man. When youre born again and filled with the Holy Spirit, the power of God comes to reside in you. This power is set in motion when you speak in other tongues. Speaking
in tongues is the solution to fear and timidity.

In Jude 1:20, the Bible says when you speak in other tongues youre building yourself on your most holy faith. That means the Spirit of God is able to take Gods Word right into your spirit where it produces Gods kind of faith.

36) Energized For The Supernatural!

This is my work, and I can do it only because Christ's mighty energy is at work within me (Colossians 1:29 TLB). There is a divine ability available to you and that ability is the power of the Holy Ghost at work in you. If you will take advantage of this divine ability, itll make the difference at school, in your work place and in whatever you do. Youll go further, faster and better than your physical ability can take you.

37) Stay Filled With The Spirit

The fact that youve received the Holy Spirit doesnt mean youre always filled with the Spirit. To be filled with the Spirit doesnt mean youve lost your mind as some people think! It means youre functioning under the control and influence of the Holy Spirit twenty-four hours every day. Thats how God wants you to live. The things we ought to do to get us filled with the Spirit are : 1. Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. This is how to be filled with the Spirit. Psalms are spiritual poems sung or spoken to God in worship. Hymns are songs of thanksgiving and praise directed to God or about God. Spiritual songs are prophetic songs that come to you from the realm of the spirit. Such songs are filled with the Word of God, and

sometimes they may come to you in other tongues. 2. To make melody in your heart to God. The melody might not sound melodic to someone else whos hearing it, but youre getting so blessed as you sing to the Lord! Never leave home or embark on any endeavour without being filled with the Spirit. A good way to always get yourself in the flow of the Spirit is to start by speaking in other tongues. Before long, the words and songs of the Spirit will well up in you. You cant be filled with the Spirit and experience sickness, failure, or lack. Your spirit will continually be energized for victory and success every day.

I am the temple of the Holy Ghost and the presence of God saturates my spirit, soul and body; I am Gods headquarters and operating centre, therefore, His altar is in the quarters of my heart. I take that glorious, divine presence of God to my world, and I saturate my environment with that sweet presence, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

38) We Are Carriers Of God's Kingdom

In teaching the disciples how to pray, before He died and resurrected, the Lord Jesus gave them a format; he said After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come (Matthew 6:9-10). He hadnt died and the world was being dominated by another kingdom, which is the kingdom of darkness. However, after His death, burial and resurrection, His message to them changed. He said to them: All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations (Matthew 28:18-19). He wants you to go ahead and manifest His Kingdom to the world. No wonder He said in Luke 17:21 behold, the kingdom of God is within you. Theres no need to pray for the Kingdom to come anymore, for that prayer has been answered in usthe new creation. If youre born again; the Kingdom is in you! When you arrive in a place, it means Gods Kingdom has arrived there. The world has suffered for too long from the influence of satans kingdom and its up to us now to dominate this world with the principles of Gods Kingdom. Dont allow the devil run things around you.

Youve been given the highest authority in the universe, the Name of Jesus to use in ruling over the devil and negative circumstances. You can put a stop to sickness, war, death, poverty and all the other corrupting influences of the kingdom of darkness. You can super-impose peace, righteousness, love, joy, health and prosperity in your own sphere of contact. Hallelujah!

39) Let God Arise In Your Life

Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him (Psalm 68:1). When God arises in a mans life, all His enemies are scattered and all those that hate Him flee in terror! The question then is: how does God arise in a persons life? What must you do for God to arise in that situation youve found yourself? Giving Gods Word first place in your life is the way to let Him arise. As you meditate on His Word and speak in tongues, His Word is stirred in your spirit thats God arising in you! Then speak forth that Word that has welled up in you as a prophecy. No enemy can resist the power of the spoken Word! When youre faced with situations where you need God to arise on your behalf, dont cry out as

Your faith in God through His Word will rise like a giant and whip the enemy.

40) Guard Your Heart With All Diligence

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23). Your mind is the door to your human spirit and whatever words and thoughts you allow to go through your mind unchecked will be deposited in your spirit. Thats why you have to screen and filter what goes through the door of your heart. Everyday, we hear words, see things, and read all kinds of information, positive and negative. This is why you need that spiritual filter: you need to mount guard on your heart and not allow your spirit receive and process the wrong information.

Never allow your heart dwell on anything you hear, feel or see that is not consistent with the Word of God For example, if you heard that things were going bad in the economy and theres hardship everywhere, such information is contrary to what the Word of God says, therefore refuse to process it in your spirit. Refuse to let it run your life or determine the circumstances of your existence. Rather, you should say: No! Thats not for me. I function in the realm of super-abundance because Im a child of God and a joint heir with Jesus. Therefore I can never be poor or broke in my life. Reject the thoughts of fear, sickness, lack, sorrow and struggling that comes from the world! Choose to embrace the thoughts of success, victory, health, prosperity, happiness and fulfilment that come from Gods Word.

41) Specialize In God's Word!

No matter in what other area youre an expert, ensure that youre a Word Specialist. Get to know God through careful and diligent study of His Word. Let your Bible be your number one companion everywhere you go.

Memorize and quote scriptures consistently; let the Word of God constantly be your meditation. Gods Word will make you an all round success youll succeed in business, in your marriage, on your job, and everything else that has to do with your life. (Joshua1.8) It doesnt matter how vast and knowledgeable you are in any field of human endeavour, you must specialize in Gods Word; you must keep learning Gods Word and living by it, for thats what will make you an expert in life

42) Giving: The True Measure Of A Man's Worth!

(Luke 12:15)

The Lord Jesus made it clear that its not how much you receive and amass that measures your value. Rather, you measure your value or worth by how much you give. No wonder the apostle Paul, reiterating the words of the Master declared that It is more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35). The Lord Jesus said, Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal

it shall be measured to you again (Luke 6:38). That means the giver has a promise; a guarantee that hell only move upward and forward in life. But for the receiver, there is no promise. Therefore, make up your mind to be a giver. As you learn to release, God will multiply your seeds sown and increase your ability, such that youll keep getting greater and greater.

43) It's Your Responsibility to Believe

The Bible says, with the heart man believeth (Romans 10:10). You believe with your heart. This means that believing is a choice which is entirely up to youits your responsibility to believe. God is not the one to make you believe His Word. Youre the one to choose to believe His Word, and when you do, you will see the glory of God in your life (John 11:40). God is looking for someone who can believe! Every time God locates such a person, He does mighty things in his life. He is looking for those who can stake their lives on His Word. Make a choice today to believe; cast yourself on His Word, trusting that everything the Lord has said is true. You can reach that place of your dreams, if only you can believe.

44) Feed Your Spirit With The Word!

The spirit of man [that factor in human personality which proceeds immediately from God] is the lamp of the Lord, searching all his innermost parts (Proverbs 20:27 AMP). God doesnt appeal to the human mind or the senses; He communicates with and leads you through your spirit. When a man is born again, he receives the life and nature of God into his spirit. The changes that are later observed in his soul and body are initiated from his spirit. The Bible says that the spirit of man is the candle of the Lord (Proverbs 20:27). The light of God is not in your mind but in your spirit. Your spirit is where the Word of God illumines (Psalm 18:28). This is why you must feed your spirit with the Word. Feed your spirit with the Word; esteem Gods Word more than your necessary food! Remember that the forces of life are domiciled in your spirit. Gods life, character and nature are already deposited in your human spirit; thus you must spend time to cultivate and nurture your spirit by learning and meditating on the Word.

45) Apply The Love Principle!

Whether its your aggressive in-law, your uncooperative brother or sister, your nagging boss, etc., love will make you hear their voice differently and view their actions and motives differently. Determine within yourself that youll apply the love principle in the way you relate with everyone around you. When you make the conscious decision to walk in love, it will be easy for you to overlook the hurtful words and actions of others Determine within yourself that youll apply the love principle in the way you relate with everyone around you. Prove that youre indeed a true disciple: walk in love, as Christ also loved us and gave himself for us as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour (Ephesians 5: 1-2).

46) The Spirit Of Faith

When youre operating by the spirit of faith, you dont speak or confess something to make it happen; nor do you try to convince yourself that what youre saying exists. Rather, you believe first in your heart that what you desire exists before giving voice to it. (2 Corinthians 4:13). Faith is the evidence that what you hoped for is now a reality (Hebrews 11:1), and thats why your confession must be based on what youve believed in your heart, not the other way round. If you have evidence of something, it gives you the confidence to speak of it boldly. When the Lord said to Abram thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee (Genesis 17:5), the man immediately began to call himself Abraham (father of many). He didnt wait to see the physical children before he confessed who he was; he believed and therefore he spoke out that he was the father of many. Thats the spirit of faith at work. For example, if you have landed documents that proved you owned a certain property, you will laugh at any other person who claims ownership of that same property. Why? The proof is with you!

In the same way, when you believe that what God has said about you is the reality, youre bold to declare it, notwithstanding what the devil, circumstances and even your mind may tell you. Thats because you have the knowledge in your spirit; the proof that those things are real is inside you!

Faith isnt a leap in the dark as some people say, but a leap on the Word of God. Understanding this simple truth will position you rightly to live triumphantly everyday, and help you judge if youre actually functioning in faith or not. Such folks have unwittingly entered the realm of fear and unbelief. But faith is the confident assurance that based on Gods Word, things favourably expected will come to pass. Faith doesnt ask what if? rather, faith knows. In other words, faith knows that if hands are laid on the sick, theyll recover, since thats what the Word says! them is wondering: So after giving, how will I be able to meet up with my expenses? To such a fellow, giving at such a time will be a leap in the dark, and thats wrong. Whereas the other fellow is thinking: Wow! What a blessed opportunity to receive! I know that as I give, Ill never lack because Gods Word has promised me a harvest! Thus, he releases that money, not in fear but in faith. Faith hears and jumps, but fear hears the same thing and considers other factors. As Smith Wigglesworth, a dear man of God once said, faith jumps, but fear hesitates! If you ever find yourself hesitating about what the Lord says to do, trying to reason out Gods Word in your mind, know for sure that you need to get back into faith. Remember, in the eyes of natural men, the Word of God is unreasonable; it makes no sense. That is because Gods Word isnt meant for the head but for the human spirit. Learn to respond to Gods Word from your spirit, and your faith will always prevail.

48) Keep The Faith; Never Give Up!

After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day. And Job spake, and said, Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived. Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it (Job 3:1-4). This is the result of fear and lack of understanding of the nature of God. Job wished to die. He had given up. But the Lord was merciful and restored him. We must learn to not give up in times of adversity. The man of faith is the man with a righteous heart that is fixed on God and trusting in Him. He doesnt accept defeat and refuses no for an answer. He doesnt give consideration to anything aside Gods Word. He lives a consistent and persistent life and always has a confession on his lips. Job opened his mouth and cursed his day. The man of faith opens his mouth to bless his day. Hes awakened to what Gods Word says and doesnt give up until he sees it manifested in his life. Faith that possesses doesnt speak carelessly. Therefore no matter what the case may be, let the life you live be the life of faith. Refuse to cower or give up in the face of adversity; keep talking your faith, for faith always wins.

Cast Out Devils

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils (Mark 16:17). Jesus victory over the devil was for you. Thats why He said, In my Name, shall they cast out devils. Thats another way of saying kick them out in the Name of Jesus! Its not a question of how strong or spiritual you are; the issue is that Jesus has given you His own authority. Thus when you say Devil, get out of here in the Name of Jesus! hes got no option but to scamper away in terror! The devil is no longer a factor. You can stop him any day, any time and anywhere if he tries to play his games around you. No need to negotiate with him, cast him out! The devil has no right to run things in your life, or in your home or in the lives of your loved ones. Its time to put a stop to his work by exercising your authority in Christ. Say this as much as you can: I have authority over the devil and his cohorts. The victory of Jesus over the devil and the entire host of darkness, was for my sake. The enemy has no place in my home, my body, my finances or anywhere around me, in the Might Name of Jesus!

50) No Sickness In Our Family!

No one in Zion will say, "I'm sick (Isaiah 33:24 MSG). Ive got news for you: if youre born again, you dont have to be sick another day of your life. No longer should any so-called hereditary or genetically transmitted sickness or disease be able to thrive in your body, for you belong to a new lineageGods family Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2 Co 5:17). In other words, the old weaknesses and sicknesses are passed away! This Gods report concerning you: Trust it; meditate on it and it will produce what it talks about in you. The impartation of the divine life of Christ has completely disconnected you from the sicknesses associated with the human life. Therefore, refuse to be sick.

Possess The Land!

You must possess your divine health, prosperity, peace and joy. Youve been born into the land that flows with abundant blessings, but you have to possess yours. The way to possess your inheritance in Christ is through your confessions! Keep declaring youve arrived in the place of abundance where you enjoy unlimited wealth and divine health. Keep declaring that youre making progress and moving forward in life. Keep declaring that youve been brought into a large place! Open your mouth everyday and take possession. Take charge! You can do what He says you can do.

52) God Is Your Source!

Your job ceased to be the source of income for you the day you were born again. Now God supplies all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). If you look at the Sun you will not see the shadows; in the same way, when you put your trust in God, you will stop chasing shadows. Stop seeing your job or your business as your source of income for God is your source. The forces of nature will come down against you and try to force you to believe that your job or business is your source of income, but refuse it with absolute vehemence. The Bible didnt say Work, that you may have money. Rather, it tells us that the reason God wants you to work is so that you may have to give to him that needeth (Ephesians 4:28). Your job is a medium or channel through which you bless others and in so doing, you also are rewarded. Giving is Gods established medium to prosper you financially, never forget it. Therefore, it doesnt matter how much youre paid at your job or business, never take it as your source of income. Now, the fact that God, rather than your job is your source doesnt mean you shouldnt handle your job well. Do your job with excellence and shun mediocrity, and the Lord will promote you.

53) Reject Poverty!

The poor man's poverty is his only curse (Proverbs 10:15 TLB). Poverty is not the absence of money, or other required necessities of life; its actually the disabling of a mans mental prowess. Its that state where a persons mind shuts down, and that person believes that he or she cant do anything to change his state. Jesus became poor so that we, through His poverty, might become rich (2 Corinthians 8:9). He took upon Himself, not only the sins of the world, but also the effects of sin, one of which is poverty. This is the reason every Christian must reject poverty. The fact that you dont own a beautiful house or a nice car doesnt mean youre poor. As a Christian, all the wealth in this world belongs to you! Once you accept this truth in your spirit, and allow it dominate your thinking, your life will take on a new meaning. Itll be impossible for you to lack any good thing in life. The poor cant help the poor. Christians are the ones called by God to help the poor. The Bible declares that we make many rich (2 Corinthians 6:10). Everyday, say to yourself, I see my prosperity, I see my greatness; Im called to help the poor therefore its impossible for me to be poor in life. Thus youre the one to lift others out of poverty for God has made you prosperous.

54) Two Kinds Of Christians

The carnal Christians speak like the rest of the world. Carnal Christians walk in strife, jealousy, envy and cause divisions in Church. They talk, reason and live like unbelievers; spiritual wisdom is not evident in their lives because they lack understanding of spiritual things. The spiritual Christian is the one whose life is regulated by the Word; hes not just a hearer but a doer of the Word. He holds Gods Word as the final authority in his life. His life is governed by the Word of God. He has insight into all things, and he speaks the spiritual languagehe talks the Word! He has matured in Gods Word, thus he has perfect understanding in all things. The spiritual man knows that sickness or disease is a mirage! He knows his rights and privileges in Christhe lives according to the Word!

55) Engage In Spiritual Exercise

The Message Translation says, Exercise daily in God no spiritual flabbiness, please! Workouts in the gymnasium are useful, but a disciplined life in God is far more so, making you fit both today and forever (1 Timothy 4:7-8). How do you exercise yourself spiritually? Its simply by engaging in spiritual activities, such as going to church regularly, praying in tongues consistently, and studying Gods Word and sharing it with others. Praying in other tongues is the fastest way to activate and energize your spirit. Train yourself to pray often in other tongues, it will open your heart to receive and understand Gods Word.

56) Desire To Prophesy

The gift of prophecy isnt just for apostles, prophets, evangelists or pastors; its for the church! Every Christian ought to prophesy. To prophesy is to speak forth the Word of God in power, whether by foretelling of future events, or as a rhema-word to cause a change in the now! he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort (1 Corinthians 14:3-4).

When you declare the mind of God in prophecy, others are edified, strengthened and comforted. So you see, prophecy doesnt make one a spiritual detective to fish out brethren who are supposedly not living right; its for the edification of the Body of Christ. Thus, with the gift of prophecy in operation in your life, you can never be in darkness as to what steps to take in life. Thanks be unto God; now that we are born again and have received the Holy Spirit, weve received the divine enablement and inspiration to prophesy. Consequently, whether youre praying on your own, or in the company of other believers, you can prophesy. As the Word of God wells up in you under that influence of the Holy Spirit, open your mouth and speak forth those words in prophecy. The Bible says the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man (not some, but all) to profit withal (1 Corinthians 12:7). This means you too can prophesy, and you can begin right now!

57) You Can Know All Things

and of Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Colossians 2:2-3).

Christ in the context of the Scripture above doesnt refer to Jesus alone: we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another (Romans 12:5). In other words, Christ refers to the Church for which Jesus is the Head, and we are His body. Thus, if all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hid in Christ, that means nothing ought to be beyond your scope of knowledge as a child of God. No wonder the Bible declares that we have an anointing from the Holy One and we know all things (1 John 2:20). That anointing dwells in your spirit, which is the real you. Thats where the light of God shines and its through your spirit that you can draw from the boundless treasure-house of Gods knowledge. Let me give you a practical example: Maybe you misplaced something and had tried fruitlessly to remember where you kept it; in your mind, theres no clue as to where and how to find it. But do you know that your spirit doesnt forget? If you would activate your spirit by speaking in tongues, your spirit will begin to function as a searchlight! Before long, your spirit

sends that signal to your mind and you know where that thing is. Through the agency of the Holy Spirit, you can access knowledge of any topic in the world. Begin to practise how to relate with Gods treasure house of knowledge through the Spirit. The next time youre tempted to say, I dont know thus and thus, stop yourself and say, In the Name of Jesus, I have access to the treasures of wisdom and knowledge! Then, begin to speak in tongues and let the Holy Spirit bring that knowledge home to your spirit and then to your mind, for you have access to all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
