Head: Police gets 3 Days remand of the robbery accused Strap: Police nabs two more in robbery case:

sources DP Correspondent Panchkula, May 17 Panchkula police produced the three robbery accused in court on Friday. The court remanded them to three days police custody. The police had sought 10 days remand, but court ordered for three days. However, the sources confirmed that police have arrested two more in this case. DCP Aswin Shenvi said, We have got three days remand from the court and now we will interrogate them and try to ascertain the whereabouts of the other accomplices. We have figured some vital leads and hope to nab the other accused very soon. We are also investigating the call details of the arrested accused so that the exact locations of the accused could be studied during the entire robbery episode. Panchkula Police had solved the case of robbery in sector 4 within two days of the episode and arrested two women and one man involved in the case. However, five other accused, including the master mind, a property dealer are absconding.

BOX PKl Police nabs master mind & another woman in robbery case DP Correspondent Panchkula, May 17 The Panchkula police had another breakthrough in the robbery case as the master mind, property dealer has also been arrested along with another woman. The name of another woman has been identified and a hunt is one for her. Panchkula police have arrested two more robbery accused persons on Friday. Disclosing this, DCP Ashwin Shenvi said that the master mind has been arrested along with another woman accomplice. DCP Ashwin Shenvi directed that ACP (HQ) to be contacted for the details of the case. ACP (HQ), Krishan Kumar Hooda said, We have arrested the master mind Property dealer, Anil Kumar has been arrested from his house in village Sultanpur in Barwala near Panchkula. Another woman, identified as Rishu, presently residing in Chandigarh and native of district Ropar has also been arrested from Chandigarh. ACP also added that Rishu is reportedly a bar dancer and was accomplice of Anil Kumar who reportedly surveyed the residential area of the site of the robbery and Anil specifically showed the house during the Navratre festival. Sources added that another woman named Hina has been identified and the hunt is on to arrest her. Two more men also involved are still absconding. Sources also told that the CIA staffs of

the Panchkula police have carried out the operation and arrested two more accused. Police suspect that the two men might have fled to down south. Rishu and Anil were friends and are suspected to have been carried out this robbery after getting information about the property deal of Rs. 4 crores. Anil is resident of Barwala and Rishu is native of Ropar and was presently residing in Chandigarh. Rishu is unmarried and is in her late twenties.

BOXHead: Graft Case: MDC SHO Dinesh Chauhan transferred to Sirsa One of the inspectors of Panchkula police allegedly involved in the graft case has been transferred to Sirsa said DCP Ashwin Shenvi. The two SHOs names had appeared in the graft case and were accused of accepted bribe to let of six of the bookies involved in IPL betting. DCP Shenvi said, We have received the orders of transfer from the higher authorities and MDC SHO Dinesh has been transferred to Sirsa. The orders for the transferred of other SHO, Surinder are yet to be received. We have marked the departmental enquiry to ACP Kushalpal. Sources in police told that had gone on leave and is likely to be transferred within a day or so.
