SAVAR VICTIM (RANA PLAZA ACCIDENT) PATIENTS ADMITTED IN SHAHEED SUHRAWARDY MEDICAL COLLEGE HOSPITAL, DHAKA-1207:

Dated - 9th July 2013. Dear Sir / Madam On behalf of Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital (from department of orthopedic and Traumatology) this is a coincise report on Savar Victims (Rana Plaza Accident); patients admitted here. This report includes patients particulars, type of injury, treatment plan, estimated treatment and rehabilitation cost. Most of the Patients admitted here after 3-4 days of the incidence. And those patients were transferred here (shsmch) through special arrangement done by Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital authority from Enam Medical College Hospital/ Other Clinics of Savar,Dhaka, being informed from Prime Ministers Office. Total 14 patients admitted here from Savar Incidence; 11 patients has been discharged, and at this time 3 patients getting treatment from Orthopedic, Surgery and Maxillofacial departments in the Savar ward (Ward-9-Ext.). All of the Patients admitted here are/ were physically as well as psychologically sick. No causality/ death incidence occurred /reported here.

Diagnosis
Crush Injury Lt. Leg with 5 months Pregnancy (at the time of admission). Acute kidney injury (failure) with soft tissue trauma over pelvic region. Crush Injury - Skin and soft tissue loss over Rt. leg and scalp. Soft tissue trauma to chest, and injury to scalp. Soft tissue trauma at multiple site of body. Compartment syndrome of Rt. hand with multiple cut injuries over face. Poly trauma with subtrochanteric fracture of Rt. femur. Head injury (Cerebral Concussion). Fracture- shaft of Rt. humerus. Fracture patella (Rt.) and Cut injury - left thigh and scalp.
