Manor Gardens Diary

February
Manor Gardens had its annual Shrove Tuesday party on, well, on Shrove Tuesday, surprisingly. There was a wide selection of pancakes, with real Canadian maple syrup, strawberries and cream, blueberries, Grand Marnier and even plain old lemon and sugar. Many residents scoffed several helpings and Sean even set a new record with seven pancakes and being the last to leave the dining room. I'm not suggesting that anyone was being piggish, but with so many varieties to choose from (even bananas and Nutella), it would have been rude not to! (GloriaS)
