Position Description

Position Title: Software Configuration Specialist Location: Denver, CO (Headquarters) FLSA Status: Full time, exempt

Overview:
Four Winds Interactive seeks a Software Configuration Specialist to work with the Sign Development Team. The Software Configuration Specialist is responsible for building, testing, and delivering digital signs to customers using our proprietary Content Manager tool. The Software Configuration Specialist collaborates with our clients and internal groups to gather the necessary creative assets and ensure an efficient user experience. The Software Configuration Specialist then assembles, tests and delivers the sign to the customer and conducts the end-user training. This role is essential to the creation and delivery of customers digital signs. The Software Configuration Specialist reports to the Manager of Sign Development and is not a management position. All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage multiple projects simultaneously (various ranges of complexity) per FWi predefined processes Gather requirements from client for the functionality and look and feel of the signage network Ensure that Sign Builds are tracking to timelines, scope & quality Set up external data integrations (SQL, XML, HTML etc..) Handle build related escalations from our Support team Maintain timely project documentation per FWi processes Conduct Quality Assurance process before signs are delivered Sign Application Development End-user training Other duties as assigned Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident to apply; relocation assistance not provided Up to 50% travel required

Education & Experience:

B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent experience required

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to details Desire to provide project management type activities in coordination with project execution Experience configuring software applications Experience working in a team environment Working knowledge of computer networking Demonstrated ability to work in an environment requiring him/her to be proactive and selfdirected Type 50 words per minute Strong Windows OS knowledge Strong Office skills, especially excel formulas Basic knowledge of computer programming concepts (variables and conditions)

Software Training Experience Experience with XML data (XSLT creation) Working knowledge of database concepts Experience writing SQL queries Experience with graphic editing software applications Programming logic (functions, arrays, loops)
