GENERAL SHOPFITTING SITE SET UP SEQUENCE OF OPERATIONS Asbestos containing materials are to be confirmed 1. 2. All shopfitting works including commissioning of services will comply fully with the Landlord/Clients instructions. The works will be carried out in accordance with the Contract Managers programme of works, the Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan, M & Cos Health & Safety Policy, Risk / COSHH Assessments & Safe Working Practices, copies of which are in the site H&S Folder held by the Site Manager. On arrival at site, vehicles are to be parked in a safe position as indicated by the Site Management for deliveries only; on completion they are to be parked in accordance with site rules or public pay facilities. All persons will sign the site booking in/out system at the site entrance when entering or leaving the site 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. Health & Safety Law Poster, First Aid Notice, Site Safety Rules, No Smoking Signs & Construction Sign Board are to be clearly displayed on the work demise. A copy of the Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan will be on site at all times (within the site H&S Folder). All operatives will receive Health & Safety Site Induction prior to commencing works. M & Co will ensure all operatives on site are competent to carry out the works. Safety footwear is to be worn at all times, safety helmets and high-vis vests may be removed at the Site Managers discretion provided there is no risk of harm. Sub-contractors will not be permitted to commence work unless the Contract Manager has approved

Worktame LTD them and they have provided the Site Manager with a risk assessment & method statement for the work. They will also be required to conform to the above. 10. Deliveries will be in accordance with the Site Management rules. Where possible, deliveries will generally be undertaken during off-peak hours. A guide will be used to control reversing vehicles or where there is a risk to third parties. Trolleys / Sack Truck & other mechanical aids will be used wherever possible so as to reduce manual handling down to a minimum; where manual handling is unavoidable & materials & equipment weigh more than 20 KGs, team lifting is to be employed Only competent certificated persons are permitted to erect, alter or dismantle Tower Scaffolds; these will be inspected prior to each use. Where they are erected for 7 days or more a statutory inspection and report will be undertaken and kept on-site.

Only competent certificated persons are permitted to operate Scissor Lifts / Lifting equipment; such equipment will be accompanied by a Certificate of Thorough Examination. Proof of operatives certification will be required. Materials / equipment will be stored within the unit demise in such a manner so as not to cause an obstruction to walkways or any fire exit / routes. Waste will be removed regularly from site as agreed with the Site Management. If this is not possible it will be stacked so as not to cause an obstruction until disposal can be arranged Fire exits will be clearly signed & kept clear, of all obstructions; Fire Stations (Water, Foam, & CO2 Extinguisher, Fire Bell & Fire Procedure Notice) will be located within each work area and where hot works is being undertaken. Inward opening fire door to be fitted to 1 hour rated hoarding. Electrical equipment will be either battery operated or 110v; 240v may be used for battery chargers only. All hot works will be carried out under a Permit to Work issued by the Site Manager / Site Management. The Site Manager will ensure a First Aid kit is kept on site; A First Aid Notice identifying the name of the First Aider will be displayed within the unit demise. Welfare facilities will be provided on-site (afairp), these are to be kept clean & tidy at all times. The Site Manager will carry out daily safety tours. All accidents are to be reported to the Site Manager who will ensure first aid is given & the MS-SW accident/near miss report form is completed & retained by the Company Owner. On completion of the works, all equipment & waste materials will be removed from the site & the area left in a clean & safe condition
