In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Muslims Responsibility
Many Muslims are under a cloud of
misconception that with the implementation of few
basic tenets of Islam, the responsibility of being a
Muslim is fulfilled.
Whereas Allah sent many Prophets from Adam
to Muhammad (Peace be upon them all). But with
the sole purpose to teach mankind, His true religion
: Al-Islam.
It is as apparent as a day that Prophethood ended
at the last and the final Prophet of Allah-Muhammad
(Peace be upon him) and there comes no Prophet
after him. Now, the responsibility of propagating
the true religion of Islam is upon the shoulders of
Muslims.
If this responsibility is not fulfilled , then we shall
never attain success in this world and the hereafter.
Let Quran speak in this regard:
Q. Is Allah Lord of only Muslims ?
A. Say : I seek refuge with the Lord of
Mankind.
The King of mankind.
The God of mankind.
(Surah An-Naas 114:1-3)
Q. Was Quran sent only for Muslims?
A. Ramadhan is the month in which was
sent down the Quran, as a guide to mankind,
also clear (sign) for guidance and criterion
(between right and wrong).
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:185)
Q. Was Prophet Muhammad
(PBUH)
sent
only for Muslims?
A. We have not sent you but as a
Universal (Messenger) to mankind, giving them
glad tidings, and warning them (against sin),
but most men do not understand.
(Surah As-Saba 34 : 28)
Q. Who has the right to be called as
Muslim?
A. Who is better in speech than one who
calls (Mankind) to Allah, and does righteous and
says, I am one of the Muslims?
(Surah Al-Fussilat 41:33)
Q. What is the responsibility of being
Muslim?
A. You (Muslims) are the best of
mankind, evolved for mankind, enjoining what
is right and forbidding what is wrong and
believing in Allah. (Surah Al-e-Imran 3:110)
Q. What if, this responsibility is ignored?
A. Those who conceal the clear (signs)
We have sent down, and the guidance, after
We have made it clear for the people in the
book, they are the once cursed by Allah and
cursed by the cursers.
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:159)
And fear the trial (affliction) which affects not
in particular (only) those of you who do wrong
(but it may afflict all the good and the bad
people), and know that Allah is severe in
punishment. (Surah Al-Anfaal 8:25)
Say: If it be that your fathers, your sons, your
brothers, your mates, or your kindred; the wealth
that you have gained; the commerce in which you
fear a decline or the dwellings in which you delight
are dearer to you than Allah or His Messenger, or
the striving in His cause; then wait until Allah brings
about His decision (torment) and Allah does not
guide the rebellions. (Surah At-Tauba 9:24)
Truly, those who reject the signs of Allah, for
them there is a severe torment, Allah is
exaulted in might, Lord of retribution.
(Surah Al-e-Imran 3:4)
Q. How to save ourselves from the torment
of Allah?
A. Except those who repent and do
righteous deeds, and openly declare (the truth
which they concealed). These, I will accept their
repentance. And I am the One Who accepts
repentance, the Most Merciful.
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:160)
Q. what are the rewards, If this
responsibility is undertaken?
A. Let there arise out of you a band of
people inciting to all that is good, enjoining what
is right, and forbidding what is wrong: they are
the ones to attain felicity.
(Surah Al-e-Imran 3:104)
This is why, Oh Muslims! It is our duly responsibility
to inherit the treasure of Islam to all mankind which
Allah has bestowed upon us.
What is concluded from the above mentioned
Quranic verses is that, key to success and happiness,
protection from Allahs torment is to spread the true
religion of Allah i.e. Islam.
In this regards, if you want to be a part of this
Prophetic Mission, UIRC welcomes you.
