2. Students can reference their journals for notes and the social studies textbooks while playing concentration game 3. CLOSURE: Students will demonstrate knowledge of content through a formal assessment independently o Turn in when completed

F. Assessment: What will you use to measure student understanding? Formal assessment through unit test will measure student understanding of all content learned in the unit Explain how you will know students understand the concepts from the lesson. I will know students understand the content when they can complete the unit assessment with 80% accuracy upon completion. G. Reflection: 1. Which part of the lesson do you think will be the easiest for you to teach? The easiest part of this lesson is going to be administering the game and the assessment to students. 2. Which part will be most challenging for you to teach? I dont think there will be a challenging part of this lesson. This is a review lesson and nothing new is really being taught so there shouldnt be a challenging part. 3. How will you follow up or extend this lesson? This is the end of the lesson so any follow up or extension will happen in following units and lessons where knowledge is connected to past lessons learned. 4. What will you do for students who dont grasp the concepts? If students are still having a hard time understanding the content, I will try to review any last minute concepts they have prior to taking the assessment to clear any misconceptions they might have. 5. Which part of the lesson, if any, do you think might need to change? I dont think any part of the lesson needs to be changed. This is basically just a game for students to review content. 6. When you were writing this lesson plan, what was the most difficult part?

The most difficult part of writing this lesson was creating the concentration game and making sure I have all of the material that will be on the assessment.
