With regards to our daily well-being both at home and in a hotel, it is essential to combine the concept of floating honeycomb structures with the flowing austerity of the finish in order to create modern living solutions. New polyurethane cushions, frothy surfaces, new material which maintains its shape, natural coverings and resistant coatings for everyday use simultaneously keep the fashion aspect in mind and promote the handcrafted finish. In this context, the world of tanning will forever be more and more focused on the specific weight of the materials in order to achieve raw material with a weight proportional to the innovative elements previously described. The watchword for us all is: comfort, and with it the concept of ergonomic shapes and materials, including: slightly worn calfskin parchment accommodating two-toned printed suede with inspirations aroused from a grain of rice, butterfly wings, the weave of a warm nautical pullover, holly berries, which translates the final aesthetic result into a sense of zenlike harmony, where the leather finish focuses on a powdery appearance and tone-on-tone blurred opaque shades. Inside the living areas devoted to conversation, we discover vegetable tanned calf leather that gives off a somewhat stern feeling with its hand-carved semi-gloss wood finish for boiserie and small chairs. The nubuck cushions carefully give way like melted candles emphasizing the grain reminding us of fingerprints, protected by stain-resistant and waterproof finishes.

To illuminate the leather chairs, fragmented effects are created on full grain nappa through printed needlepoint or very fine stitched effects; this fine pulverized dust of grain protects surfaces from constant rubbing and at the same time allows you to appreciate the nature of the cationic/caseinic products. The armchairs emerge from the surroundings like real threedimensional armor through the use of soft vegetable retanning and at the same time expand the possibility to appreciate the magnificence of elephant grain, turtle backs, tejus backs and ostrich legs, refinished with slightly sanded/ waxed effects at the ends. To conclude our journey inside both public and private environments, the sofa continues to be the subject of desire due to its functional and warm characteristics. Therefore we focus on quilted matelass aspects characterized in floater leather, preembossed macro deer leather and crocodile belly leather. The sofas and cushions can be distinctively arranged to create a greater use of geometric, rounded prints on 2/2.2 mm thick skins, tanned and dyed in watercolor shades, empha sizing the new processes of bleached chrome tanned leather.

Living

A devil with gypsy blood. That is how both Coco Chanel and fashion have been defined with their indefinite variations revolutionizing what each season offers, having the ability to continuously recreate and renew, just like the world in which we live in. It is very difficult to represent fashion in a distinct manner, the interpretations and needs are those of everyday life and for this reason, we summarize the basic principles for the tanning world. Softness and weightlessness especially in leather goods, full grain and floater leather offer the lightness of a down coat with a thickness of about 1.6 to 1.8 mm. Structure and quality calf side leather and baby calf leather for footwear, both well structured and reactive to shining, chrome tanning is preferred as it easily conforms to create a form-fitting and ergonomic shoe. Classic features reflect a glossy appearance; fat liquoring pull-up leather for winter footwear for men and women captivates more structured shapes to evoke an authentic and confident feeling. Three-dimensional aspects of grains, both buffalo and goat skins, with a deep austere finish and reworked with a removable wax perhaps reveal handmade attri butes. Tone-on-tone brush-off smoothness, opaque metals or natural waxes are what are most fashionable for the next season. Textures, very rubbery to the touch, will accompany the collection of both golf shoes as well as the alpine rock climbing boots.

Embossing techniques to achieve a cauliflower-like appearance are depicted on crocodile tails, tejus bellies, ribbed buffalo and lamb hides during the early stages of tanning, colored with pigments and brushed to a polish. The pictures of ancient illuminated manuscripts of the early codices are relived on pearly metallic surfaces for jeweled evening bags. Stone inlay animal figures, engraved painted surfaces create designs with a polyurethane finish, which very much characterize a retro style. The buckles and handles made of vegetable tanned calf leather, shined and buffed to emphasize the natural characteristic creases of the leather. Metallic/painted armor designed for the sophisticated punk is mixed with vegetable-tanned nubuck calf leather with an impressive thickness, aniline finishing and protection from stains and water. For the outdoors, the musical period between 1965 and 1972 makes reference to our heroes such as Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Brian Wilson. For the Neo-hippie and Eco-rock young world, we retrace the paths of Vermont and the lumberjack charm-inspired trendsetter. Montgomery, parkas, plaid prints, jeans and a lot of raw and hand woven wool are the elements to be combined with water-repellent pull-up bovine leather, characterized by new tanning processes which render men/women ankle boots half the weight and the double face-lined boots adding a rugged flair.

Wearing
