1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Log into MetraOffer. You should use the same login you use in MetraCare. Select Price-able Item. Select Recurring Charges: Select Create New Recurring Charge Select Flat or Unit Flat means there is one and only one charge for the subscription Unit means the final cost will be Qty * Per Unit Cost 6. Enter the basic information. This is the price-able item name. This is customer facing. It will appear on the interactive bill. Click Next. 7. Click Next. (For now simply leave this screen alone. In the future, there will be another radio button Align to Subscribers Bill Cycle. This will allow you to create an annual recurring charge. Until that exists, do not change anything on this screen.) 8. Select the proration values and click Next. Note: For most of our products we Charge In Advance, not in arrears. The item can be both prorated on activation and deactivation if you want Always use one charge per participant 9. Enter the name of the unit. IMPORTANT - This is customer facing. (Note - If you had created a flat recurring charge, you would not need to complete this screen. Leave max value blank Select Integer Always select tiered rating When finished click Next. 10. When you reach the Summary screen, click Finish. 11. Select the recurring charge you just created. 12. Select the correct charge code. The red arrow is where the OK button should be.
9. Click Finish. 10. On the left side of the screen, you click Tiered Rates to set up the dollar amount. 11. Click the Default Rate Schedule button: 12. Next, click the pencil (indicating that you wish to do an edit) 13. Add the default rule. If we had true tiers, you would create the tiers here. However, since our recurring charges dont really use tiering, you just need a single default rule. 14. Enter the Recurring Charge Per-Unit Amount cost, and click the OK button. 15. After you enter the default price, click the RC_Test_Monthly link on the left. After clicking that, then click the Parameter Table Mapping button. 16. Click he Edit Mapping button on the same line as that of the Tiered Rates you just created: 17. If you will allow the price to be overridden at the Group Subscription level, checkmark the box. Otherwise, if you do not want the price to be overridable, then do not select Allow Custom Rates Then click the OK button. You have finished creating the Product Offering. Next, by setting the Available Start Date, the product offering is set in stone. 18. Click the Edit button to open the screen below. Then set the Available Start Date to be the same thing you set for the Effective Start Date. Then click OK.
13. After Selecting Subscriptions the Custom Rates Screen will (re-appear) from this screen select RATES AGAIN. 14. The Select a Parameter Table screen will open; from this screen select UDRC Tiered Rates AGAIN. 15. The custom Rate Schedule Screen will open, from this screen select the Pencil to add Custom UDRC rates. 16. The UDRC Rate Schedule Entry Screen will appear, from this screen select ADD. 17. After selecting Add, the Rule-set Editor will appear. This is the editor used to enter the UDRC and TIE the CUSTOM RATES to the VALUE Configuration entered in (STEP 7). NOTE: The number of units you
entered in the Value Configuration in Step 7 equals(=) the number of units entered in the custom rate schedule, so therefore the UDRC will generate a charge of (# units X [$per unit]) = total $.
18. When you have validated the Value Configuration quantity equals the UDRC Condition Units and the Rate per/unit is correct, Select OK. 19. SAVE the Recurring Charge you have subscribed to the Owner ID. This completes the addition of adding a UDRC charge to the Owner.
