POETRY SLAM PPISMP TESL SEMESTER 2 GROUP,JUNE 2011 INTAKE

AIM The aim of this proposal is to apply for the approval and consideration from Majlis Profesional,Pengurusan dan Pentadbiran, IPGM Kampus Pendidikan Teknik to organize a Poetry Slam competition among students from PPISMP TESL Semester 2 Group,June 2012 Intake. BACKGROUND 2. Purpose of Poetry Slam competition for PPISMP TESL Semester 2 Group,June 2012 Intake student is to balance the development of intellectual,social and good interactions among future teachers.This is to ensure that experience,skillfull and volunteerism teachers can be form through this challenging activity. 3. In order to expose students about English Language Society,English Language Society Unit,IPGM Kampus Pendidikan Teknik plans to organize this program to stabilize students understanding and skill in order to achieve the aim and objective of English Language Society.This Program will be held from 2nd to 6th of April 2012 at the main hall of IPGM Kampus Pendidikan Teknik.

BASIC CONSIDERATION 4. The objective of this program is to expose and provide chances and experience to the students to increase their ability so that they can use the knowledge that they have learnt to apply in real situations

Besides,the objectives of this competition are : 5.1 5.2 5.3 Application of group interation in a high competitive atmosphere. To bring the group members closer. To produce future teachers with creative and critical thinking.

To create a healthy environment through groups teamwork.

ORGANISATION PROPOSAL

6. The organization proposal of Poetry Slam competition for PPISMP TESL SEMESTER 2 GROUP,JUNE 2011 INTAKE can be refer through Appendix A while the Main Committee, Working Committee and coaches can be refer through Appendix B.

PARTICIPATION

7. There are total of (38) students from 2 groups of PPISMP TESL SEMESTER 2 Group,June 2011 Intake (refer to Appendix C) that are involved in this program.

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS

8. Poetry Slam competition for PPISMP TESL SEMESTER 2 Group, June 2011 Intake is estimated to use a total cost of RM 60 as stated in Appendix C.

CONCLUSION 9. Efforts to implement Poetry Slam for the PPISMP TESL SEMESTER 2 Group, June 2011 Intake students is relevant to proof that all the learning outcomes which have been prepared are able to help students in achieving the aim and objectives of English Language Society. 10. However,this proposal needs full attention and commitment from all parties especially from the English Language Society,IPGM Kampus Pendidikan Teknik in cooperation with Language Department.

RECOMMENDATION 11. Members of the meeting are required to apply for the approval and consideration of the organization proposal for Poetry Slam competition and also thye approval of the allocation of RM60 for this activity.
