Theme: World of Knowledge Topic: Unit 3 - Where Am I ?. Focus: 4. Language Art Content Standard: 4.2- By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to express personel response to literary texts.. 2 Bijak 2 7.50 9.20 pm English Learning Standard: 4.2.1- Able to respond to: a) a book covers b) pictures in books c) characters with guidance Activities: 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) Pupils will take out their textbook. Teacher will instruct the pupils to follow the steps given by teacher oh how to look up the meaning of the word castle in a picture dictionary. Pupils use the treasure map on page 22 as a template. Remove the landmarks. After a few times, pupils will sing the song on their own. Teacher will asks the pupils to draw the landmark on a template. Pupils will be given a worksheet and they will paste it into their exercise book. Pupils will discuss the table with the teacher. Teacher will give explanation and give examples for further understanding. Then, pupils have to complete the 2nd text with the correct phrases from the table given. Writing Content Standard: 3.1- By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to write using appropriate language, form and style for a range purposes 2 Bijak 4 8.20 9.20 am English Learning Standard: 3.1.1- Able to write in neat legible print : a) word b) phrases c) simple sentences Activities: 1) 2) 3) 4) Pupils will take out their activity book. Pupils will be write the words using capital letters and full stop.. Pupils will discuss the answer with the teacher. Teacher will give explanation and give examples for further understanding. Teacher will give example and guide pupils to complete the exercises. 5) After they have finished, they will hand in the books to the teacher. Grammar ( Singular And Plural ) Content Standard: 5.1- By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to use different word classes correctly and appropriately. Teacher will guide the pupils to read an explanation about the topic in page 11. Pupils will try to understand the topic followed by the teachers explanation. After a few times, pupils will try to answer the questions orally from the teacher. Teacher will check the pupils answer. Theme: World of Self Topic: Unit 3- Where Am I ? Focus: 2. Reading Content Standard: 2.1- By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to apply knowledge of sounds of letters to recognise words in linear and non-linear texts. Learning Standard: 2.1.1- Able to recognise and articulate initial, medial and the final sounds in single syllable 2 Bijak 4 8.20 9.20 pm English words within given context. 2.1.2-Able to blend phonemes into recognizable words and read them aloud Activities: 1) Pupils will take out their textbook. 2) Teacher will guide the pupils to sound the letters. 3) Pupils will try to articulate the phonemes in the words and say the words aloud. 4) After a few times, pupils will try to recognize the words with same initial sounds on their own. 5) Teacher will check the pupils pronunciation of the words.
