Applicants must be high school seniors who plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in Fall 2013. National Association of Water Companies Deadline April 10, 2013 The New Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Water Companies Association is offering two $2,500 scholarships to high school students who will be attending a New Jersey college or university and is interested in the water utility industry or any related field. NJUA Excellence in Diversity & NJUA Trade and Vocational Scholarship Deadline April 13, 2013 Each year , the New Jersey Utilities Association(NJUA) Excellence in Diversity Scholarship awards one four year scholarship providing $1500 per academic year to the student selected by our Scholarship Review Committee. NJUA will also award the NJUA Trade and Vocational School Scholarship to a qualified student who will be pursuing a Trade or Vocational degree at an accredited school. This award is valued up to $6000, depending upon the total cost of the program. Mid-New Jersey Youth Soccer Association Deadline May 15, 2013 Mid-New Jersey Youth Soccer Assn. annually awards two-one thousand dollar scholarships, to a graduating male or female senior. The scholarship is awarded based on accomplishments in the classroom, to their high school, community and soccer. The candidate has to have been associated with a MNJYSA affiliates club/team as an athlete, volunteer trainer, or as a referee during his/her high school years. Mary Ann Christopher Nursing Leadership Scholarship Deadline April 9, 2013 To provide scholarships to Generic BSN nursing students interested in pursuing a career in nursing. Updated 3/12/2013 2013 Spirit of a Hero Scholarship Application Form Deadline April 12, 2013 Through her New Jersey Heroes initiative, First Lady Mary Pat Christie is making available a new post-secondary education scholarship. The $5,000.00 Spirit of a Hero Scholarship is now open to students graduating from high school with a strong record of service to others. To be considered for the scholarship, candidates must be a New Jersey resident and U.S. citizen; submit a high school transcript and a letter of recommendation from a current teacher or advisor; be in good academic standing with their secondary school and enroll as a student at an accredited college/university or a vocational training school in the 2013-2014 school year (Fall or Spring Semester). Application forms are available online at: http://newjerseyheroes.org/index/ 2013 ETS Employees Community Action Fund Deadline March 29, 2013 The ETS ECAF Scholarship was established to assist graduating seniors in the New Jersey public education system in their goal of achieving a higher education degree. ECAF will offer awards, up to $5,000 each, for scholarship recipients who are pursuing a vocational, technical, or two or four year degree at an accredited school/college/university in the United States. Mercer County Retired Educators Association Scholarship Award Deadline April 15, 2013 The Mercer County Retired Educators Association will award a $1000.00 Anna Diehl Scholarship to a student who meets the following criteria: a. Ethel H. Conover Scholarship Fund Deadline April 15, 2013 The Ethel H. Conover Scholarship Fund is providing scholarships for deserving students. The Center for Scholarship Administration, Inc. (CSA), a non-profit, independent organization is the facilitator of the program. Students who are eligible must be high school seniors enrolled in a Mercer County, NJ public high school. They must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale at the end of the Fall 2012 term. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, traits of high personal character and leadership and pursue a degree in elementary or secondary education. The McGuire Officerss Spouses Club Scholarship (Deadline March 25, 2013) The McGuire Officers Spouses Club proudly announces its annual scholarship program for Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst military dependents in the class of 2013 graduating class. All military dependents that are interested in applying can find a copy of the electronic application on our website: www.mcguireofficersspousesclub.org. Students should complete the electronic application and submit it along with other required documents to the MOSC Scholarship Chair by email or postal mail. As stated above all applications must be postmarked or received via email no later than March 25, 2013. Scholarships will be presented Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at the annual scholarship reception.

The Trenton College Club of the American Association of University Women Scholarship (Deadline March 20, 2013) The Trenton College Club of the American Association of University Women is pleased to announce that we will again award several scholarships to eligible young women in the community. Candidates should rank in the top twenty percent of their class. The Scholarship will be awarded only to those entering an accredited four-year college. Scholarship Fund (Deadline Application must be postmarked by April 16, 2013) The Megan Nicole Kanka Scholarship Award for $1,000 is available for 2013 graduates. Foster and Adoptive Family Services (FAFS) Scholarships & Grants (Deadline March 15, 2013) For over 35 years, Foster and Adoptive Family Services (FAFS) has awarded scholarships and grants to deserving High School Seniors throughout New Jersey. The FAFS award programs are separated into two distinctions: Academic Awards and Opportunity Awards. The applicant must be a high school senior graduating in 2013 who is currently in foster care, or who has been in foster care and is currently in an adoptive or Kinship Legal Guardianship (KLG) home through the NJ Division of Child Protection & Permanency. Applications are available on line at http://www.fafsonline.org/scholarship.html Trenton Fortitude Corporation (Deadline April 5, 2013) Trenton Fortitude Corporation is seeking applicants for its Merit Scholarship and Book Awards to be presented to African American High School Seniors. Eligible students must attend a four-year institutions of higher learning in 2013-2014 school year. Applications are available in the CHS counseling office. The Elly and Giorgio Petronio Stony Brook Garden Club Environmental Award (Deadline April 15, 2013) The Stony Brook Garden Club of the Princeton area announces that an annual award of $1000.00 has been established in 2006 by the Petronio family. This scholarship is available to a senior attending a high school in the greater Princeton area who demonstrates a passion for and a commitment to our environment. He/she must have been actively involved in one or more of the following: research, advocacy, horticulture, protection or improvement of our natural world. Scholarship Applications are available in the CHS counseling office. Daughters of Penelope Annual Scholarship (Deadline May 1, 2013) The Daughters of Penelope, Altes 163, is again offering their annual scholarship to any graduating senior who is the son or daughter of a steward in good standing of St George Greek Orthodox Church in Trenton or whose mother is a member in good standing of Altes Chapter. Students who are interested need to obtain an application from the parish office of St. George Church.

Marine Trades Association of New Jersey(MTA/NJ) (Deadline April 2, 2013) The Marine Trade Association of New Jersey is pleased to announce the availability of two Education Scholarships for the 2013-2014 school year. The scholarships are open to any student that is interested in pursuing a career in the recreational boating industry and meets the criteria outlined. Information about the scholarships including an overview of the application process, the two applications, and recommendations forms for the guidance counselor and other faculty are available online at http://www.mtanj.org/scholarships.html. Scholarship application due date is April 2, 2013. The Hispanic Business Council Scholarship Foundation of NJ, Inc. (Deadline February 28, 2013) (HBCSF), has a mission to advance the educational aspirations of Hispanic students in New Jersey so that they may become professionals, leaders and valued citizens of the community. The foundation accomplishes this by providing scholarships and stipend awards for a college education based on academic excellence and financial need for those seeking to attain an undergraduate degree at a four-year institution or community college or pursuing training at a technical (trade) school. In 2012, the organization awarded $40,000 in scholarships and stipend awards to 19 students throughout the state at its annual gala in May held at the Estate at Florentine Gardens in River Vale, New Jersey. This year, the HBCSF has designated at a minimum $40,000 in scholarships and stipends will be awarded to students currently or planning to attend a four- or two-year college, university, or community college to attain an undergraduate degree or planning to enroll in a technical school. Applicants must be of Hispanic heritage, a New Jersey resident, enroll full-time during the 2013-2014 academic year, and hold at least a 3.0 grade point average. A flyer announcing the program is available to download and distribute from the HBCSF's home page. The application and a list of frequently asked questions may be downloaded from the organizations web site www.hbcsf.org. Interviews and the final award selection will be completed in April 2013 and the scholarships will be presented at the Foundations 22nd Annual Scholarship Gala to be held at The Estate at Florentine Gardens in River Vale, New Jersey on Thursday, May 30, 2013.

The Lion Woodward Educational Fund of the Rotary Club of Trenton $2,500 per year for up to 4 years. Graduating from a high school in Trenton NJ or the greater Mercer/Bucks area. Must be accepted as a full time student at an accredited college, university, trade, or vocational school. Must maintain a C(2.0) GPA or better. Must report your progress in person at a Trenton Rotary meeting once per year to continue their eligibility. 2. Mary Elliott Wislar Memorial Scholarship Granted annually to a graduating resident of Mercer County who is going on to post-secondary education. The applicant must be a graduating high school senior who resides in Mercer County. This is a competitive scholarship, and the recipient will be selected based on leadership, financial need, achievement and character. It is very important that the student has exhibited leadership in their school extracurricular and/or community activites in preparation for making a positive contribution to their future communities 3. Greater Mercer Scholarship This scholarship to a graduating resident of Mercer County who is entering a fouryear college or university is made possible through the generosity of two Community Foundation scholarship funds. The applicant must be a graduating high school senior who resides in Mercer County. The recipient will be selected based on community service, financial need, achievement and character. It is very important that the student has demonstrated a strong commitment to community service over several years. The NJ Sharing Network Foundation Benjamin R. Chirls Scholarship (Deadline May 24, 2013) The scholarship recipient must be an organ, tissue or eye donor family member, transplant recipient, or awareness advocate. The scholarship is awarded in honor of those who gave, to pay tribute to those who received, to offer hope to those who continue to wait, and to remember the lives lost while waitingfor the gift of life. Requirements: New Jersey resident Full time high school senior, college, technical, vocational school student or current full time student at any other school of higher education. Organ, tissue or eye donor family member, transplant recipient or awareness advocate. Student must be in the top 50% of class

Joe Logue Sports Writing Scholarship Application (Deadline March 31, 2013) The Trenton Catholic Boys High School Golden Wave Club will award the Joe Logue Sports Writing Scholarship to a senior student who has written about high school sports for the school newspaper or local newspaper and will be attending college next year. While, the student does not have to be related to either a graduate of Trenton Catholic Boys High School or a TC student who was enrolled when it closed in 1962, all applicants who are so related will receive some measure of credit for this factor. Last years recipient received $1500. This year the same award amount will be given. Applications may be found in the CHS Counseling Office. New Jersey Schoolwomens Club Scholarship ( Deadline March 1st 2013) The New Jersey Schoolwomens Scholarship has been in existence for more than twenty-five years. This year two scholarships, in the amount of $1,000 each, and two educational awards in the amount of $500, will be awarded to female graduates who intend to pursue a career in the field of education. The Mercer County School Nurses Association (Deadline April 1, 2013) The Mercer County School Nurses Association is excited to offer a $1000.00 scholarship to a graduating senior who will pursue further education in the field of nursing (Registered Nurse Program). The New Jersey Burglar & Fire Alarm Association The New Jersey Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (NJBFAA), an official chartered chapter of the Electronic Security Association (ESA), is pleased to announce the availability of college scholarship awards to sons and daughters of active-duty police and fire personnel. The ESA has more than 2,500 members and the NJBFAA has 300 members in our state. Our members are companies that sell, design, install, maintain and monitor electronic burglar and fire alarm systems. This scholarship award is a small way for our industry to say thanks to our very dedicated public safety community, and to help pay for an advanced education for deserving students. He/she will have applied to and been accepted or enrolled, full or part time, in a college (2-year or 4-year), university or an accredited technical school for the 2013-14 school year. Eligibility is also extended to recent high school graduates who had to delay their education due to ME/CFS. Each applicant will be judged on merit, the sincerity of his/her essay and on his/her financial need. Angel Dolphin Scholarship (Deadline March 21, 2013) The Angel Dolphin Scholarship Fund is an annual award available for full-time United States students who have lost one or both parents and who meet our Eligibility Requirements. The Angel Dolphin Scholarship was founded by an east coast musician and singer/songwriter Brandon Scott McLean in 2010.
