Nuestro proceso de internacionalizacin se va consolidando. En 2011, el 80% de nuestro volumen de negocio provino de los mercados internacionales, alcanzando as la cifra ms alta de nuestra historia. El ejercicio pasado cumplimos los principales objetivos marcados, a pesar de las mltiples dificultades derivadas de la inestabilidad de mercados importantes. All donde surgieron oportunidades y los clientes nos dieron la opcin de demostrar la calidad de nuestro servicio, logramos crecer con ellos; y paso a paso nos vamos consolidando en el mercado global. Nuestra competitividad reside en buena parte en la capacidad de innovar y mejorar continuamente los productos, los procesos y los servicios. Buscamos dar soluciones eficientes y completas a nuestros clientes, y buena prueba de ello es el exitoso Sistema MK. Un producto verstil y multifuncional capaz de adaptarse a diversas aplicaciones tanto en Obra Civil como en Edificacin, con soluciones diversas: carros porta-encofrado, cimbras, cerchas a una cara, encofrados, sistemas trepantes, etc. Otro claro resultado de nuestro esfuerzo en I+D y de explorar nuevos caminos en la generacin de valor aadido, es el tablero de composite EVERMAX. Este innovador producto que ULMA lanza al mercado est basado en materiales plsticos de altas prestaciones y reciclables, que nos lleva a acelerar el camino hacia productos ms sostenibles, de ms larga vida y de menor consumo de madera. Estamos avanzando en el buen sentido, ganando la confianza de los clientes, y creciendo con ellos. Last year we met the main objectives, despite the numerous difficulties arising from the instability of major markets. Where opportunities emerged and the customers gave us the option to demonstrate the quality of our service, we grew with them; and step by step positioned ourselves in the global market. Our competitiveness lies largely in the ability for continuous innovation and improvement of products, processes and services. Another clear result of our efforts in R&D and the exploration of new ways to add value to our solutions is the EVERMAX composite board. This innovative product that ULMA launches to the market is based on high performance and recyclable plastics materials. This speeds up our path towards more sustainable products, which are longer-lasting and reduce the consumption of wood. The MK System in its applications as structure, shoring and formwork was used to build the different tunnels in a sequential manner. Workers safety in projects of such size is always a priority. An application of the MK Structure system was used for the installation of a large working platform with perimeter protection as support of the formwork.
