Dress for Activity (sneakers, athletic clothes, etc.) We will remain in the athletic facility throughout the day. Please arrive on time. If you are a returning coach, bring your DtG binder or folder. Directions to Brooks School 1160 Great Pond Road | North Andover, Mass. From Boston and Logan Airport (time: 45 mins.) Take Route 93 North to Route 495 North (Exit 44A). Follow Route 495 to Exit 43 (Mass. Ave/North Andover). Turn right off the exit and go 1.3 miles to Route 125. Turn left onto Route 125 and go 2 miles. Turn right onto Route 133 just before the Butcher Boy Plaza. The main gate of the school is 1.4 miles ahead on the right. From Hartford and the West (time: 2 hours) Take Route 84 East to Route 90 East (the Mass. Pike). Take Route 290 East through Worcester to Route 495 North. Take Exit 43 (Mass. Ave/North Andover) off Route 495. Turn right off the exit and go 1.3 miles to Route 125. Turn left onto Route 125 and go 2 miles. Turn right onto Route 133 just before the Butcher Boy Plaza. Park either in the hockey rink parking lot or the lot adjacent to the athletic facility Doc Wayne Management: Rebekah Conway Roulier, Ed.M., General Manager Rebekah is responsible for sports programs and training of coaches in current and future markets, the enhancement of the organizations DtG curriculum and management of the monitoring and evaluation systems. She comes to Doc Wayne with an Ed.M. in Counseling with a Specialization in Sport Psychology and with extensive experience in coaching and work in youth services. Rebekah has a BA and Ed.M. from Boston University. She recently presented at The Northeast Atlantic Sport Psychology

Conference (Philadelphia, PA) on The Use of Sport in the Behavioral Health Treatment of Youth," was a panelist on Young Minds Behind Bars: The State of Mental Health Care within the Juvenile Justice System sponsored by Wheelock College, and presented on the ethics of sport at Moving Traditions Celebr8-U Conference. David S. Cohen, Executive Director David is managing and overseeing the Doc Wayne operation while exploring ways to broaden the organizations reach to more youth on a national and global scale. In his career of over 18 years in the business and non-profit sectors, he has specialized in developing new business, building partner relationships, while sharpening organizational outreach. David is a former college athlete that has been deeply involved in sport-based youth development since 2008. He is also the founder of Playing It Forward, Inc., a nonprofit that provides sports equipment to disadvantaged children around the world. David has a BS from Babson College and an MBA from the McCallum Graduate School of Business at Bentley University. do the good Trainers:


Nikki Valila Flag Football Active Training Nikki Valila, a former semi professional tackle football player, has spent the past 9 years working with adolescent girls, specifically with those that have been sexually exploited or are at high risk. Over the last three years she has directed the ACT Group Home, an 8bed program that exclusively served girls that had been victim to the commercial sex industry. Nikki manages referrals for survivor mentors for girls and co facilitates a psycho educational groups. Prior to this position, Nikki worked at the Suffolk County District Attorneys Office as a Victim Witness Advocate in Suffolk Superior Court with a focus on teen exploitation cases. In the past few years, Nikki has been able to utilize her rapport with young girls and encourage them to join Doc Wayne. Nikki joined the Doc Wayne league as a coach six seasons ago and has helped to strengthen the program at the Youth Village-Germaine Lawrence Campus. As a senior administrator. Nikki has embedded the therapeutic curriculum and DtG culture into the campus and watched girls with low self esteem, a lack of interest in team sports and low self confidence gain skills that girls have taken off the fields courts into their programs. Nikki says of her experience, The Doc Wayne DtG curriculum is a tremendous way to work with girls not only on individual goals but also encourages them to look beyond themselves in how they can support their team in both residential, school and athletic capacities. The DtG curriculum has become a part of how I work with girls both on and off the playing field. Craig Babineau Presenter Craig Babineau brings his vast experience to Doc Wayne as an original member of the leadership team that created the DtG curriculum. Craig studied at Roger Williams

University where he competed in NCAA baseball and hockey. He then moved on to play two seasons in the Eastern Football League, a semi-professional tackle football league. Craig was also invited to the King of the Beach Competition which is an invitation only volleyball tournament open to only the top twenty-five players in New England. His extensive work in youth services includes a stint as Director of Athletics at a JRI residential treatment program, involvement with the Special Olympics, and The United States Air Force Youth Sports Program. While working for The United States Air Force, he was awarded the Fit to Fight medal, the highest honor a civilian can receive. Craig is an integral part of the Doc Wayne team and brings great passion, commitment, enthusiasm and spirit to the program. David DeFazio Presenter Dave De Fazio has been involved in sports as an athlete, coach and scholar for most of his life. As a sportsman, he was the 2007 Swiss Ice Dance Champion and an international competitor in that sport from 2003-2009, spending four of those years ranked in the top 100 of the International Skating Union's World Rankings. Dave has also spent nine years coaching figure skating and ice dance, working with skaters ranging in ability from beginners to elite athlete. He holds a Masters Degree in Sustainable Peace through Sport from the United Nations University for Peace and the International University of Monaco. Sarah Masnik Team Builder Sarah Masnik is a counseling intern with Doc Wayne. She is currently completing a masters degree in counseling with a concentration in sport psychology. She received a doctoral degree in experimental psychology from the University of Rhode Island in 2011. As a former college athlete, Sarah became motivated to identify the causes and treatments for athletes with disordered eating. Thus, her research focus is on the etiology and evolution of disordered eating in athletes. She plans on receiving a practicing degree so that she can develop effective treatment models for athletes struggling with body image issues.
