3C: Stonehenge A prehistoric monument composed of a circular setting of large standing stones; declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986. 3D: The (Scottish) Highlands (with a Scottish bagpiper) Mountain ranges dominate the region; includes the highest mountain in the British Isles, Ben Nevis (the summit at 1,344 m.). 3E: Giants Causeway An area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns located on the northern coast of Northern Ireland; one of the natural wonders of UK; declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984.
