ACF International is a registered charity, founded in 1979. ACF International operates in 37 countries. The international network of ACF International is represented in Paris, London, Madrid, New York and Montreal. Teams in the field combat hunger on four fronts: nutrition, food security, health, water and sanitation. ACF International, Mission Pakistan, intends to award Contract for the supply of the following items in the framework of humanitarian programs funded by European Union (EU), European Commission Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection (ECHO) and "The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs(MFA)" ACF International has received a grant from the European Union for the implementation of the humanitarian Action entitled WINS and intends to apply a portion of that grant to payments under this contract. No party other than ACF International shall derive any rights from the grant or have any claim to its proceeds. Under no circumstances or for no reason whatsoever will the European Union entertain any request for indemnity or payment directly submitted by ACF International's contractors.

SUPPLY OF ASSORTED RENTAL VEHICLES:

Bidders have the option to bid on one or submit bids for all lots, Lots are defined as below. Lot 1 Lot 2 Lot 3 Vehicles required for Sindh Vehicles required for KPK Vehicles required for Islamabad

Please note that with the exception of Islamabad all vehicles will be provided with a driver. Vehicle numbers will vary on a monthly basis according to programme needs and requirements. The following type of vehicles are required: 12 seater minibus

ACF does not bind itself to award the tender to the lowest tender or any bid and reserves the right to accept the whole or part of the tender The deadline for submission of tenders is 02-April-13 at 5pm( Islamabad time) Only companies that are able to fulfill the following criteria need to apply: Additional vehicles as and when required must be available within 48 hours and delivered to site. Saloon vehicles to have dual fuel capacity (If engine specifications are suitable) All vehicles to have tracking devices that are accessible by ACF through a website. All vehicles must be manufactured after 2008. Mileage should not exceed 100,000 which must be verified through service records.

All vehicles to have fully functional front and rear seat belts All vehicles to have fully functional Air conditioning. All vehicles to be supplied with 1st Aid kits, tool kits, warning triangles, tow ropes. Supplier will provide replacement vehicle after 24 hours in case of accident or breakdown. All proposed drivers to have minimum of 5 years driving experience. All drivers to have substantial mechanical knowledge All drivers to present to ACF International prior to recruitment details of Police clearance, full background checks, copies of driving licenses. All drivers must provide proof of attending at least 1 defensive driving course from a recognized and Government approved organization. At bases where number of vehicles exceeds 5 supplier will provide, at no cost to ACF International, either an on site mechanic with tools and equipment or a local garage for servicing. All vehicles must be fully comprehensively insured including passenger liability. ACF will be responsible for Fuel costs and repair of punctures.

ACF will not be responsible for : Drivers or mechanics salary or accommodation. (But will pay per diem if driver out of normal duty station) All servicing costs and costs for any replacement parts.
