UNION systems offer multiple options for multitrack live recording: option 1: direct connection to a computer/laptop through the M7CL48-ES 3rd port requiring only a CAT5 cable option 2: connection to a computer/laptop through a Dante network using MY16-AUD interface cards and a Gigabit switch option 3: connection to a computer with PCI port through the EtherSound redundant ring network using the Digigram LX6464 PCI card.
* Live recording through PC or Mac DAW [Digital Audio Workstation] software such as Steinberg Cubase, Nuendo. * 24-bit 48kHz recording up to 64 channels using any appropriately configured PC or laptop * Dedicated recording computer frames available with redundant RAID harddisks * Option 1: a PC or laptop ( Windows only) can be connected directly to the M7CL48-ES 3rd port without any additional hardware. * Option 2: Dante cards ( MY16-AUD) add multichannel recording to any MY16 compatible mixing console: 01V96VCM, 02r96VCM, DM1000VCM, DM2000VCM, LS9-16, LS9-32, M7CL32, M7CL48, PM5D, PM5DRH. A Dante Virtual Soundcard ASIO driver is available for Windows and Mac. * option 3: LX6464 equipped computer frames (Windows only) support in-ring recording for any Ethersound ES100 redundant ring network * One hour recording of 64 channels takes appr. 33 Gigabyte harddisk space (24 bit, 48kHz)
