Sunni Killings Two cops among eight killed as violence flares in metropolis by Notorious Shia terrorist banned organization (SMP) Sipah e Muhammad under the patronage of MQM and PPP support. KARACHI: As many as eight people, including two policemen, were killed in separate acts of violence in the metropolis on Friday. In the first incident, a policeman was killed near Manghopir shrine within the limits of Manghopir police station. SHO Ashfaq Baloch said that 39-year-old Nadeem Baloch was on routine police patrolling when two Notorious Shia terrorist banned organization (SMP) Sipah e Muhammad armed riders shot him and escaped, resultantly, he died on the spot. The body was shifted to ASH for an autopsy. Soon after the Manghopir killing incident, another police cop was killed by i Notorious Shia terrorist banned organization (SMP) Sipah e Muhammad in Metroville within the jurisdiction of SITE-A police station. According to police, 40-year-old Akhtar Ali, son of Ameer Ali, after completing duties in SITE B police station was on the way his home in Mominabad after completing his duties at SITE-B police station when Notorious Shia terrorist banned organization (SMP) Sipah e Muhammad pillion riders opened fire on him, resultantly, he received critical bullet wounds and died on the spot. The body was shifted to CHK for medico-legal formalities. Separately, two ASWJ men were gunned down by Notorious Shia terrorist banned organization (SMP) Sipah e Muhammad near Siddique Sons within the limits of SITE-A police station. Station House Officer (SHO) Muhammad Tufail said that 45-year-old Dilfaraz, son of Gulfaraz, and 30year-old Abu Bakar Siddique, son of Ahmed Bux, were returning home after offering Friday prayer at Jamia Banoria when Notorious Shia terrorist banned organization (SMP) Sipah e Muhammad armed riders shot them multiple times and escaped. As a result, both of them received critical wounds and died on the spot. The bodies were shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for autopsy. The SHO said that both the victims were the residents of Rasheedabad, Baldia. He said Dilfaraz was district West information secretary, while Abu Bakar was the activist of ASWJ Moreover, the driver of a flour mil owner was killed in Sector-28, Korangi within the limits of Awami Colony police station by Notorious Shia terrorist banned organization (SMP) Sipah e Muhammad. SHO Hatim Marwat said that at least four armed riders intercepted a vehicle bearing registration No BD6690 at gunpoint, but the driver, 34-year-old Abdiul Sattar, son of Habibullah, tried to escape and accelerated the vehicle. The armed men, however, opened fire at the vehicle, resultantly, Sattar receive two fatal bullet wounds and died on the way to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC). Furthermore, a man was killed in Sector 5-D, New Karachi within the jurisdiction of New Karachi Industrial Area police station. SHO Muhammad Ali said 37-year-old Kashif, son of Tahir, was sitting at a tea shop when Notorious Shia terrorist banned organization (SMP) Sipah e Muhammad armed pillion riders opened indiscriminate fire on him, as a result, he received multiple bullet wounds and died on the spot. The body was shifted to ASH for an autopsy. The SHO said that Kashif was unmarried and used to work as a motor vehicle mechanic. Meanwhile, the body of a minor girl was found from the forest in Ayub Goth near Karachi University within the limits of Mobina Town police station. SHO Akhter Mughal said that after getting the information of the body lying in the area, the police rushed to the site. The body was shifted to ASH for an autopsy. Mughal said that the child was abducted three days ago on 19th February, 2013 and her missing report was registered at Sachal police station. The child identified as five-year-old Dania, daughter of Abid. The officer said after the getting medical report, they would be in a position to determine the cause of the death. Further investigation was underway.
