Newton County: Proposed Gun Law

John Douglas, member of the Newton County board of commissioners, issued the following statement: Proposed gun law changes in unincorporated Newton County. This would prohibit you from even using "any firearm" (bb gun or pellet rifle) within 350 yards of "any residence" including your own home. It would keep you from crossing over two seperate pieces of property to hunt if your bullet crossed the property line even with the permission of the two owners, it would require a sheriff approved backstop for shooting even on land zoned agricultural. With the assaults on the 2nd amendment, this should raise a huge red flag in Newton County and you should let your commissioners know you oppose these gun control regulations. These new regulations will be discussed at the March 5 County Commission meeting, 7pm, upstairs at the old court house in Covington. Historic Courthouse is located at 1124 Clark Street, Covington, Georgia. Commissioner's Office Main Phone Number 678-625-1200

Obama lays framework for purge of online opponents

Under the guise of curbing the "radicalization" of U.S. citizens and identifying and purging potentially violent persons from the Internet, the White House has initiated the creation of a new INTERAGENCY WORKING GROUP to address what it calls a growing problem. The White House issued A FACT SHEET delineating the broad objectives of the plan. The interagency group will be headed by Quintan Wiktorowicz, the current White House senior director for community partnerships on the national security staff. The new group will be called The Interagency Working Group to Counter Online Radicalization and will be charged with the implementation of an Internet safety program to address online violent extremism. Wiktorowiczs stated, Violent extremist groups like Al Qaeda and its affiliates and adherents, violent supremacist groups, and violent sovereign citizens are leveraging online tools and resources to propagate messages of violence and division. These groups use the Internet to disseminate propaganda, identify and groom potential

recruits, and supplement their real-world recruitment efforts. Some members and supporters of these groups visit mainstream fora to see whether individuals might be recruited or encouraged to commit acts of violence, look for opportunities to draw targets into private exchanges, and exploit popular media like music videos and online video games. Although the Internet offers countless opportunities for Americans to connect, it has also provided violent extremists with access to new audiences and instruments for radicalization. If Wiktorowics were referring exclusively to terrorist groups such as al Qaeda, then no red flags would be raised whatsoever concerning the new program. But he never specified nor defined terms such as "violent supremacist groups" or "violent sovereign citizens." The Obama Administration has already caused the alarm bells to ring on several occasions as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released several internal memos referring to conservative Christians who believe the Bible, pro-life citizens who are against abortion, Tea Party activists, and political conservatives who believe in a strict adherence to the U.S. Constitution as "potential HOMEGROWN TERRORISTS." And in the current gun rights debate, sovereign citizens have gone on the record to oppose the Obama administration's all-out assault on the Second Amendment, vowing to disobey any law that would violate their unfettered rights to keep and bear firearms. It would be difficult to imagine this administration, with its radical leftwing mindset and agenda, viewing such widespread displays of defiance as anything other than a direct threat to its power, and thus, a perfect motivation for declaring such citizens to be potentially "violent sovereign citizens." Citizen militias that are formed to counter the administration's push to negate Second Amendment protections of unfettered gun rights would also potentially come under the umbrella of "violent extremist groups," given that these citizens have openly stated that while they would never start a civil war by opening fire on federal agents, they would, in fact, return fire if fired upon first by government forces or law enforcement. Although the United States itself was born directly from armed and "violent" resistance to GOVERNMENT TYRANNY as represented by the British empire at the time, in today's climate such ideas are viewed by elitist educators, historians, and politicians as dangerous extremism. Thomas Jefferson, the nation's third president, would more than likely be deemed a homegrown terrorist in modern America with his well-publicized view that the federal government needs to be purged every generation or so with an armed insurrection aimed at ridding the government of anyone who undermines individual liberty and the rights enumerated in the Bill of Rights and the Constitution. Modern patriots who adhere to the philosophy of Jefferson represent a clear, direct threat to many within government who view the Constitution and the Bill of Rights as irritating roadblocks to their plans for complete government power over every sector of life. America, thus, enters into a very dangerous phase of our history as increasingly it is becoming clear that our own government has set its sights against its own citizens.

Working to Counter Online Radicalization to Violence in the United States

Originally posted by The White House

The American public increasingly relies on the Internet for socializing, business transactions, gathering information, entertainment, and creating and sharing content. The rapid growth of the Internet has brought opportunities but also risks, and the Federal Government is committed to empowering members of the public to protect themselves against the full range of online threats, including online radicalization to violence. Violent extremist groups like al-Qaida and its affiliates and adherents, violent supremacist groups, and violent SOVEREIGN CITIZENS (see below) are leveraging online tools and resources to propagate messages of violence and division. These groups use the Internet to disseminate propaganda, identify and groom potential recruits, and supplement their real-world recruitment efforts. As a starting point to prevent online radicalization to violence in the homeland, the Federal Government initially will focus on raising awareness about the threat and providing communities with practical information and tools for staying safe online. In this process, we will work closely with the technology industry to consider policies, technologies, and tools that can help counter violent extremism online. Companies already have developed voluntary measures to promote Internet safety such as fraud warnings, identity protection, and Internet safety tips and we will collaborate with industry to explore how we might counter online violent extremism without interfering with lawful Internet use or the privacy and civil liberties of individual users. This approach is consistent with Internet safety principles that have helped keep communities safe from a range of online threats, such as cyber bullies, scammers, gangs, and sexual predators. While each of these threats is unique, experience has shown that a well-informed public, armed with tools and resources to stay safe online, is critical to protecting communities. Pursuing such an approach is also consistent with the community-based framework we outlined in Empowering Local Partners to Prevent Violent Extremism in the United States and the Strategic Implementation Plan for Empowering Local Partners to Prevent Violent Extremism in the United States. A New Interagency Working Group To more effectively organize our efforts, the Administration is establishing a new Interagency Working Group to Counter Online Radicalization to Violence, chaired by the National Security Staff at the White House and involving specialists in countering violent extremism, Internet safety experts, and civil liberties and privacy practitioners from across the United States Government. This Working Group will be responsible for developing plans to implement an Internet safety approach to address online violent extremism, coordinating the Federal Governments activities and assessing our progress against these plans, and identifying additional activities to pursue for countering online radicalization to violence.

If your "religion" is either Jewish or Christian, read the Book of Isaiah. You are taught the importance of God's outline and plan for governing -- and the responsibility of His people to participate in order to preserve His edification. There is no such thing in the Bible concerning so-called separation of church and state. There is only one true King, and He presides over every earthly kingdom.

BOB CASH wrote: There is no mention of

separation of church and state in the constitution or amendments either. Only that the government cannot support or promote one religion over another. It makes no reference to blocking religion from government places so as not to offend atheists either!

Social Security Federal Benefit Payment

Pay attention to your next Social Security income, whether you get a check or an electronic deposit....note what it is now called...see below.. Have you noticed, your Social Security check is now referred to as a "Federal Benefit Payment"? I'll be part of the one percent to forward this. I am forwarding it because it touches a nerve in me, and I hope it will in you. Please keep passing it on until everyone in our country has read it. The government is now referring to our Social Security checks as a Federal Benefit Payment. This isnt a benefit its earned income! Not only did we all contribute to Social Security but our employers did too. It totaled 15% of our income before taxes. If you averaged $30K per year over your working life, that's close to $180,000 invested in Social Security. If you calculate the future value of your monthly investment in social security ($375/month, including both you and your employers contributions) at a meager 1% interest rate compounded monthly, after 40 years of working you'd have more than $1.3+ million dollars saved! This is your personal investment. Upon retirement, if you took out only 3% per year, you'd receive $39,318 per year, or $3,277 per month. Thats almost three times more than todays average Social Security benefit of $1,230 per month, according to the Social Security Administration (Google it - its a fact).

And your retirement fund would last more than 33 years (until you're 98 if you retire at age 65)!I can only imagine how much better most average-income people could live in retirement if our government had just invested our money in low-risk interest-earning accounts. Instead, the folks in Washington pulled off a bigger Ponzi scheme than Bernie Madoff ever did. They took our money and used it elsewhere. They forgot that it was OUR money they were taking. They didnt have a referendum to ask us if we wanted to lend the money to them. And they didnt pay interest on the debt they assumed. And recently, theyve told us that the money wont support us for very much longer. But is it our fault they misused our investments? And now, to add insult to injury, theyre calling it a benefit, as if we never worked to earn every penny of it. Just because they borrowed the money, doesn't mean that our investments were a charity!

Georgia's Governor and General Assembly not only have the right to protect Georgia Citizens from unconstitutional laws; they have the responsibility to. Thank you Representative Spencer!

Woodbine legislator introduces bill to allow Georgia to nullify federal law

But detractors say the question was settled with the Civil War
ATLANTA | Georgia would ignore federal laws and presidential orders if a panel of appointees finds them unconstitutional and the General Assembly agrees under legislation that Rep. Jason Spencer introduced Thursday. Whether states can nullify a federal law without a court striking it down was an issue that sparked the Civil War, and many scholars argue the matter was settled 150 years ago. The courts are the only option for disgruntled states, according to Neil Kinkopf, a constitutional expert at Georgia State Universitys law school. However, Spencer, a Woodbine Republican, argues that Thomas Jefferson and other founding fathers supported nullification and that the Civil War didnt change the powers the Constitution gives to the 1 states. Its a doctrine I believe is valid, said Spencer, who is a member of the informal Conscience Caucus of conservative legislators. He sponsored House Bill 352, which would create a 10-member commission to review every new federal law and recommend ones legislators should vote on nullifying. Neither the state nor its citizens shall recognize or be obligated to live under such statute, mandate or executive order, notes the bill. Georgia has used the courts to try to strike down laws it objects to. But the federal courts could be wrong and refuse to reject an unconstitutional law passed by Congress and enforced by the executive branch, Spencer notes. Who checks the federal government when all three branches assault the states? he asks. The second-term legislator doesnt expect his bill to pass, at least not this year. Instead, he sees it as an opportunity to educate his colleagues during a hearing he expects to get in committee.

Although Lincolns constitutional coup affected the interpretation of the 10th amendment, the War did not repeal it!

Thank you, Rand Paul for stating the obvious on the national stage.

Pure Socialism
Immigration stats show welfare rules not enforced. Immigrants taking root in the U.S. only to live on the government dole. Obama administration did not cite anyone for this last year
Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions is accusing the Obama administration of failing to enforce a century-old law meant to prevent immigrants from taking root in the U.S. only to live on the government dole -- after the administration reported it did not cite anyone for this last year. "Virtually no one is being examined before they enter the country on whether or not they'll ... immediately begin to depend on government welfare," Sessions, R-Ala., top Republican on the Senate Budget Committee, told Fox News. As Congress weighs new immigration legislation, Sessions said any reform package "has got to end that." Sessions turned up new statistics from the Department of Homeland Security last week showing what he describes as a startling trend. DHS reported how relatively few immigrants are being turned away on the grounds that they are likely to become a "public charge" -- or individuals who depend on welfare programs -- despite a 100-year-old law that's supposed to prevent this. The department, blaming "data entry quality," said it did not have complete information on how many immigrants became public charges. But the department did a case-bycase review for the bulk of fiscal 2012, and found just one where that claim was leveled at an immigrant. "However, the charge was later withdrawn," DHS reported. Further, the department reported that just a tiny fraction of people are rejected on these grounds when seeking entry under a program that allows admission for 90 days for travelers from certain countries. Between fiscal 2005 and most of fiscal 2012, a total of 9,796 were denied -- a fraction of a percent of those admitted. State Department figures for visa applications showed a similar trend, with just .068 percent of visa applications denied on those grounds in fiscal 2011. Sessions has been hammering this issue for months. He and other Republican senators earlier wrote to the departments of Homeland Security and State arguing that a bedrock principle of immigration law is that "those who seek citizenship in this country ought to be financially self-sufficient." The senator suggests the immigration system has produced a lopsided result in which high-skill immigrants are turned away while those who end up absorbing more taxpayer dollars than they contribute stay.

Sun News (UK) secretly filmed the mans remarks at three different meetings where he said, among other things, that it is natural for Muslims to take money from the kuffar (derogatory term for non-believer), that Prime Minister Cameron and President Obama are the devil, and that Islam is taking over Europe The normal situation is for you to take money from the kuffar. So we take Jihad Seekers Allowance. You need to get support. Comparing benefits to a jizya, or tax on non-Muslims, he added a laugh: They give us the money you work, give us the money! Allahu akbar, we take the money. A 2010 Sun News report says Choudary collects 25,000 in government benefits and lives in a 320,000 house in London.

HB 159 - Property Protection Bill

Fees for storm water, street lights, sanitation all appear on your property tax bill. 25% of Georgia counties are using this collection scheme. Failure to pay all or part of the Government Junk Fees will result in a Lien against your property, whether or not you defaulted on your property tax. Since these fees are included in your mortgage escrow account, private businesses like a mortgage lender or bank are now acting as collection agents for the government entity that tacked on the fees. Obamas Abuse of Office

Alfreds Thoughts: HTTP://ALFRED22LR.BLOGSPOT.COM/2013/02/CHARGES-OF-ABUSE-OF-OFFICE-U.HTML?SPREF=FB

U.S. Federal Court hits President Barack Hussein Obama with three charges of abuse of office. The charges presented are detailed and damning. The indictments assert that President Obama acted as a dictator to exceed his powers of office to appoint officials behind the back of Congress during a recess period. In a staggering announcement an Associated Press report declared: President Barack Obama violated the Constitution when he bypassed the Senate last year to appoint three members of the National Labor Relations Board, a federal appeals court ruled Friday. Mr. Lyndon Larouche, a well-connected journalist and political activist characterized the courts assessment as probably the greatest indictment ever seen on a standing president throughout history. White House press secretary Jay Carney reacted strongly against the charges declaring, We believe that the presidents recess appointments are constitutionally sound. However, the federal court seems to disagree having put in place a list of charges presented as conclusions according to Larouche. The court appears to take the view that no such recess was in place. As such, the president was in violation of Section 5 of Article 1 of the Constitution that stipulates that a president cannot make appointments without the consent of the Senate. The failed Obama gambit had hoped to apply the section of the Constitution that reads: The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of their next Session.

~10~

The Washington Post reports on the seriousness of this abuse of office, is more than an unconstitutional attempt to circumvent the Senates advise-and-consent role. It is a breathtaking violation of the separation of powers and the duty of comity that the executive owes to Congress. Crucially, no other president in history has ever tried to force through such alleged recess appointments while Congress is still in session. The offenses occurred last year when President Obama opted to bypass Congress and unilaterally appoint three people to seats on the National Labor Relations Board . He also made Richard Cordray head of the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (after the Senate blocked action on his nomination). Cordrays appointment, made on the same date, has been challenged in a separate court case. Lyndon Larouche has characterized the events as probably the worst violation by any sitting president trying to use a procedural loophole. Jubilant Republicans are already looking to set in motion impeachment proceedings. Larouche, who studied the court indictments, believes Obamas offenses are far graver than those that led to the impeachment and removal from office of disgraced Republican president, Richard Nixon, after the Watergate scandal. The above was received from Tom Brewer over at Facebook. The Associated Press and the Washington Post reported on the above article as well. It looks like the Court called it right that President Obama overstepped his authority by making these appointments in this fashion. That is what we have Section 5 of Article I of the United States Constitution. When James Madison was writing this document he knew that this was to be a sound procedure of checks and balances, but in this case there was none. Now we have direct appointments made by the President in a fashion that is breaking his oath to the Constitution and to the citizens of the United States. It mentions in the article that the Federal Court ruling said he was acting like a dictator which is where one person takes it upon themselves to make all rules and take control away from other parts of the government. This violation cannot be overlooked. This is far worse than the President Clinton affair and it takes us back to the years of President Nixon. The people of our nation need to let their voice be heard on this subject because if this is let slide then what will come next. We the People, must stand and say that this is enough and we need a far better leadership in our central government in Washington, D.C. Standing on the edge of total tyranny is not a good thing to see and the only way to handle this is to impeach him because he has brought shame to the office by violating the Constitution so blatantly.
