String Jam Information

Dear Families, Music lessons are back in full swing and I am very proud of our students progress. I would like to provide you with an update for our upcoming String Jam Concert. Tuesday, February 12th Orchestra Rehearsal from 6:15 to 7:45 pm at the Senior High School Where: Please drop off your students with their music and instruments at the rear band entrance to the Senior High School. You are welcome to stay and watch our rehearsal in the gymnasium or pick-up your child at the band room doors at 7:45 pm. What to Wear: Please be prepared to be warm! Feel free to wear your orchestra t-shirt and/or bring a water bottle. Double basses: If your student plays the double bass, your student is welcome to leave the instrument at Senior High School until after the concert on Thursday. Thursday, February 14th String Jam Concert: Report time 6:30 pm, Concert time 7:00 pm Where/When: Please drop off your child at the Senior High School rear band room door no later than 6:30 pm. The concert begins at 7:00 in the Senior High School gymnasium. What to Wear: Dress for the concert is dress your best in red, pink, black, or white for Valentines Day. If possible, please do not wear jeans or sneakers. Misc.: This event is free and open to the public. If you have not yet turned in your childs permission slip, please do so as soon as possible. An extra copy is on the back of this form. In the past, this event has been very rewarding for our student musicians and we are looking forward to another engaging concert experience.
