Lie to me!
Amir Liberman: The emotional microscope What does my instinct tell me as I go on stage? Do I go forward and speak or do I go to the back and hide from you? Am I excited? Stressed? This is a confusing situation, says Amir as he jokingly runs backstage.

Amir Liberman is a pioneer researcher in the field of forensic voice analysis. Driven by a traumatic terror attack that caused the death of three women, the Israeli researcher set himself an ambitious (and nave, he admits) ambition: to build the ultimate lie detector. Without any sophisticated equipment, Amir started recording himself, his family and friends. Lie to me! he asked, but his research system showed no sensible and conclusive result. Only when Amir started measuring basic human sensations did the system spike, and his method was born. Amir was the first to identify the three basic sensations in the human voice: Photo: Ivo de Bruijn excitement (positive), stress (negative) and uncertainty (cognitive stress), which helped him explore and develop the first computerized emotion detector. I realized that people lie in order to change the cause of things to come, says Amir. And it can be detected only by the underlying emotions. educational use. Amir would like emotional analysis to lead investigators to not only detect a lie, but also reveal and explore the underlying true emotions beneath them. Acted emotions have no value. Some of our parameters do not indicate deception, it is the analysis in the right context. We offer a realtime, efficient and accurate way to understand the triggers and motivations, unraveling the way of the mind.

Humans have so many different emotions what happens in our mind when we argue? Love? Lie. The emotional microscope reveals all. Sure, some things are still at large, but the more we reveal about the truth, the more we can dive into the essence of human nature. Today, Amir talks about his innovative methods, research and he practices what he preaches live, as he demonstrates his emotional diamond profiling on video clips of public figures and politicians, as well as rating todays speakers. You can vote online! One piece of advice he offers his fellow speakers: Just enjoy the show.
