Bosecker compact transformer stations ... are used in all places where a high energy output is required at one spot, e.g. in residential and industrial areas, on large construction sites and on fairs. Safety Bosecker compact stations are produced and type-tested according to IEC 62271-202 High voltage / low voltage prefabricated substation. The internal arc fault test, the temperature rise test and the EMC test are the most essential tests of this standard. Material All external enclosure elements are made of stainless steel (steel grade no. 1.4301). The supporting frame of the low voltage switchgear as well as the internal covers consist of hot-galvanised sheet steel. Enclosures made of hot-galvanised sheet steel available on request. Lacquer coating All Bosecker compact stations have a heavy-metal free two-component lacquer coating. Colour optional according to RAL colour chart. Maintenance The enclosure consists of maintenance free material. Should damages be caused for mechanical reasons, doors or wall elements can be exchanged. Due to the use of stainless steel a damage to the lacquer coating will not cause corrosion. Doors All doors are equipped with self-engaging doorstops which protect the operator from the hazards of slamming doors. Locking system The doors are locked by means of a 3 point bar lock with pivoted lever and a Euro prole cylinder lock. On request a pivoted lever for a double locking system or a padlock can be t in. Ventilation system A labyrinth ventilation system inside the roof structure, the side walls and the doors ensures that lost heat from the transformer is quickly dissipated. Furthermore the ventilation system avoids condensation water on the installations. Additionally protective sheets at the side walls prevent the interior from being heated up excessively by the sunlight.
Environmentally friendly lacquer coating Very compact construction Individual varnishing upon customers request for colours matching the surroundings
Very efcient labyrinth ventilation system good aeration, thus no development of condensation water while in use
Low height
Developed and produced according to DIN EN ISO 9001 Cold air inlet
Equipment The substation is suitable for equipment of several types of transformers up to 630 kVA and gas insulated ring main units with up to four compartments from various manufacturers. The low voltage compartment is equipped with a copper busbar system for currents up to 1000 A and offers space for up to 14 low voltage heavyduty (LV HRC) fuse switch disconnectors or low voltage heavy duty fuse base bars. Variations on special customers request may be considered.
Transformer The transformer is accessible from the detachable roof or from a door. The substation is foreseen for operating up to 630 kVA/ 24 kV by oil transformer or cast resin transformer in accordance with DIN. Foundation The substation casing is assembled on a torsion-free concrete foundation with a oil and watertight oil sump.
Cable connection The concrete plates below the MV and LV compartments and the lower bar can be removed, thus allowing free access to the cable connection room. As an option, a version with closed MV compartment is available. Additionally four overground cable inlets have been set for the LV compartment, e.g. for temporary use on construction sites.

Medium voltage compartment Transport The transportable compact station BOS 2919 is transportable with installed transformer. Thanks to the four lifting lugs on the roof it can be craned with the corresponding lifting gear or a forklift and placed on its location.
Low voltage compartment Erection The base of the transportable compact station BOS 2919 does not require any foundation. A plain and solid underground will do as basis. The downward sealing of the station has to be ensured by a sand lling. Cable connection The supply lines and outgoing cables of the transportable transformer station BOS 2919 run through the ground into the cable compartments. The sheet steel cover below the low voltage and medium voltage compartment can be removed to enable a more comfortable cable assembly.
The base A hot-galvanized steel frame is the base of the transportable compact station BOS 2919. All components are arranged so that the load centre is in the middle of the station. This load distribution ensures safe transport. Two double doors on the LV and MV side as well as two double doors in the transformer compartment provide optimum accessibility and high exibility during placement of the station.

Enclosure The partially accessible compact transformer substation BOS 4800 can optionally be equipped with a concrete base or a hot-dipped steel frame, for the transport of the fully equipped station. The size of the station permits a variable arrangement of functional compartments and doors. Inhouse engineering team and manufacturing of substation guarantees high exibility in design. Due to its low total weight, the enclosure of the substation with its steel frame base is especially suitable for installation on roofs, cranes or industrial plants as well as for export.
Equipment The electrical equipment of the partially walk-in compact substation BOS 4800 and the arrangement of the functional compartments allows great exibility. The type-tested standard version allows to install a 5-compartment MV switchgear with a length of 2500 mm in its walk-in accessible MV compartment. The non-walk-in area is equipped with a 1000 kVA three-phase current transformer, the LV compartment is equipped with a LV distribution unit with 14 outgoing feeders. The delivery scope of the version with oil transformer equipped comprises an oil sump.
Erection The concrete-base version of the partially walk-in compact transformer substation BOS 4800 is erected on a base to be supplied at site. When a steel base is applied, no additional base is required for assembly on roofs and crane plants.
Cable connection Incoming and outgoing cables of the partially walk-in compact station BOS 4800 are being led through the cable connection compartment from below. The cable strain-relief clamps for incoming and outgoing cables are comprised in the delivery scope.

The switching substation BOS 1100 serves as switching point between energy-producing facility (e.g. wind power station) and public power network. It contains a medium voltage switchgear with up to 4 feeders. Medium voltage nominal data: 24 kV / 16 kA-1s-, 50 Hz.
An important part of the switching substation is the stainless steel base. It serves both as foundation and as arc-fault control.
