This
General
Act
was
registered
with
the
Secretariat,

accordance
with
its
Article
44, on
August
16,
1929
the
date

entry
into
jorce.
CHAPTER I.
CONCILIATION.
Article
i
Disputes
of
every
kind
between two or more
Parties
to the
present
General
Act
which
it hasnot
been possible
to
settle
by
diplomacy shall,
subject
to
such
reservations
as
may
be
made
underArticle
39,
be
submitted,
under
the
conditions laid
down in
the
present Chapter,
to the
procedure
of
conciliation.
Article
2.
The
disputes referred
to
in
the
preceding
article
shall
be
submitted
to
a
permanent
or
special
Conciliation
Commission
constituted
by
the parties to
the
dispute.
Article
3
On
a
request
to
that
effect
being made
by
one
of
the
Contr~icting
Parties
to
another
Party,
a permanent
Conciliation
Commission
shall
be
constituted
within
a period
of
six
months.
