We are very much concerned that children, women and elderly are paying the price dearly. We would like to stress here that working to achieve ever lasting peace, unity in harmony and equality in diversity, should be one of the most important objectives for Kachin Army and Burmese Government. We call for immediate cessation of all military activities from both sides in order to achieve peace through political dialogue. We oppose war and we truly believe that guns and bullets wont solve the problems but only through genuine dialogue, mutual understanding, mutual trust and mutual respect will bring hope of peace. Finding peace is two ways communication and we would like to stress here that both Kachin Army and Burmese Army must have the sincerity and genuine desire to see peace and prosperity in Kachin state. We call for Burmese Government, all the Burmese parliamentarians and all the people who concern peace in Burma to work your utmost possible to achieve peace realities in Kachin land. We call for both Burmese Army and Kachin Army to do genuine dialogue for the sake of the people in the region and peace in Burma.
